If you were told you were allowed to take one physical item with you into the afterlife, what would you pick?

Myself? I would probably pick my wallet. It would have all of my cards, ID's, and membership cards, as well as pictures. That way, I can remember that life that I had, and the people that were in my life.

I don't know if I want to take anything with me.  The objective of the afterlife is that it is the next step in the progression of whatever spirituality people have.  I think each person has their own belief with the why's and how's about the next stage in our existence but I believe nothing really happens.  It may be scary to some people but I think we just wink out of existence.  Boom.  Done.

But, if I were forced to bring a physical item, if I had to absolutely bring something, I'd bring my wife if I could.  I love that woman and she's a wonderful person and a great teammate and she has helped me (and I have helped her) get through this life.  I could not imagine operating without her and we compliment each other perfectly.

I know, without a doubt, that the number one thing I can't live without is my wife. I suppose if I had to pick it would probably be her. I don't think I'd actually care enough about any item to bring it with me.  I've always thought that if misfortune struck and I lost every crumb I owned, I honestly wouldn't be that distraught. I mean, I value what I have, but I'm just not materialistic at all.  I guess if we HAD to pick something... and we assume that nothing is available to us in the afterlife, I'd pick paper and pen.  But of course, that'd count as two items and the pen would run out.  

So maybe like everyone else... it'd be better to bring a laptop?  I wouldn't want it for everyone else's reasons though. I'd want to be able to write whenever I want.

The things in this world mean nothing to me when it comes to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. A lot of people don't believe in him but I'm not them, I'm me and I love him with all of my heart.

I had the blue one, the red one, 2 black ones at one point, they grey one, the gold Star Wars one ( my aunt let me borrow it when on of my controllers broke when I was younger ), and I think I even had the purple one. I never had the yellow one though. Nice. But, now I don't have any of it.
