Since the 2 people we were waiting on never exactly responded brackets were made with 16 people unfortunately less than 32 but still works out perfectly so all good.

However, this is allowed on Pokémon Showdown and I have no idea why. I believe there was no new rules added before your match. We have to wait to see what's happens.

pokemon x : My Charizard did have the mega stone, although I guess that couldn't really be proved unless you could see the hold items from the replay video. That new rule is a good idea, though. But like cnw said, I have no idea why this was allowed. It seems odd that where something like Sand Attack is looked down upon lets you do this.
