Are you afraid of dying? It will happen to everyone eventually. Some before others, of course. But do you ever think about dying? And does it scare you?

I do not fear death. I know it is going to happen someday. It is a natural part of life. Instead of worrying about it, I just want to make sure that I do everything that I have ever wanted to do before it happens.

Death is my biggest fear. What if there is no God? What happens then? Eternal nothingness, though you cannot feel the nothing? No thoughts. Thinking about no-deity post-death creeps me out a lot. Many people get creeped out by thinking what happened before the Universe was born. That is the same creepy feeling I get about death.

If there is a God, death is something I look forward to. Sorta. I'll welcome death (as long as I'm not going to Hell), but I have no guarantee that God is real.

I don't believe in God, but I don't not believe in God. I'm Agnostic in a way. I definitely, definitely want God to be real, but what if he isn't? Death is good if there is a deity, but way creepy if there is no deity.

Well, it's strange that death isn't one of my main fears...., but there is some that I'm more afraid of and it is associated with death....that is I die a useless, unknown man....
If I could graduate from collage and do something useful to the world, and if I can...I want to prove something to the world. If I could do any of these two....then I can no longer be so afraid of death.

Yes. My biggest fear of all.
When we die, we can't do nothing. We can't even think. It's sad to think about it. That nothing that we do matters. I'm not just talking about one person, or a group of people.
We can cure cancer, travel the stars, do what we want. But It won't matter. Everyone dies. It's something that can't be stopped. Death is the only fact in our lives.

I am scared of it, and will always be. I do not believe there is an afterlife, and when we die, we die. We aren't going to continue living in any other way... Just eternal darkness...forever.

In all honesty, I really don't fear death because I know it is inevitable and it will eventually happen and there is no getting out of it.  The only thing I really want is to die in the most peaceful way possible, and I would also like to die knowing that I did just about everything I wanted in my life. I don't really like to focus on the fact that I will eventually die someday because it will just get me depressed when I should be enjoying the time I still have to be alive. 

So to answer your question, no I am not afraid of it, it is a part of life and it will happen someday. 

No I have no fear of death I will welcome my death when it comes as I know it will as it will for everyone there is no stopping it everyone will meet there death it is the way of life.

I have no fear for death and that is why I treat every day like it is my last. It is a part of life why worry about it.

Not really. I got to the point in my life where I'm too lazy to care, I even told myself that if I were to get into a crash or something, I would not panic. I know things would seem different when the time actually comes, but now I just don't really care about fearing death.

I'm not so much scared of it, It's just I'll never understand it. What happens when we die? what's it like? can we feel anything? It's more of just a thought that keeps running on and on for me, so I think it's best that I don't think about it.

I really do fear death. I fear not being able to live to see my nieces experience life, I fear not being able to graduate and do something with my life.
But the aspect I fear most about death is the suddenness of it. I fear dying so quickly that I'm unable to say goodbye to all of my wonderful friends and to my family. Just... being forced to leave without saying things that need to be said... that's why I fear death so much.

No I feel a bit sad that I wont get to see things progress but at the same time since I'm an atheist I believe death just means nothingness I wont feel anything, be able to think or anything really. In a way I could say I was dead before I was born. I could say I should experience everything I want to experience but that wont really matter once I'm dead. That only matters when I'm still alive.

I guess my one fear would be if it turns out there is some kind of God and I'm sent to hell for not believing in him/her/it now that wouldn't be fun... But that's a risk I'll take I mean considering how many different gods and religions there are putting my faith into one probably wouldn't change my chances. And if this god was almighty and knew everything he would also know that I don't truly believe in him/her/it but that I've only pretended to believe in him/her/it out of fear.

So I'll live life like I want to not out of fear of what the consequences might be if I don't believe in a certain religion or following said religion's rules.

I do not necessarily feel death itself, but how my death could come about. I honestly fear that my death will be long and painful, and that is a thought that is almost unbearable. If I do die, I hope that it will be quick and painless. I know that it is inevitable, but I cannot cease my fear of the pain that could come along with it. 

Yes, I do because there's so much I want to do before I die and after I die, many people will be very sad, maybe even depressed, about it for a while. D:

Quite frankly, yes; I fear death. I don't necessarily fear death itself... I just have a fear of "How am I going to die when it is my time?"

I don't fear death because I know where I will be after I die. Though I am a sinful person and don't deserve life, Christ died for me and saved me from eternal death through my faith in Him and what He did on the cross. Like the modern hymn said "No guilt in life, no fear in death, this is the power of Christ in me. From life's first cry, to final breathe, Jesus commands my destiny."

What I am probably afraid of is certain processes of dying. There are certain ways that lead to death and the prolong pain or suffering that leads to it has been pretty scary in my thoughts. Stuff like torture or slowly drowning to death that you hear in the news or see in movies or television. You can't help but think what was it like or how painful it's like in that whole process instead of actually dying immediately.

Nah, I don't fear death because I know that the after life can't be worse en my life now.

I don't really fear death, since my life has only just begun. We all know all things come to an end, including our lives, but I for one don't really think about it that often.
