What is the craziest/Coolest thing that has ever happened to you in a Pokémon game. It could be an event, first time experience, or anything you want. I will go first, when I was younger, I put up a craindos up to the global trade system on Pokémon Platinum. I said in return I wanted a Girrantina, just for fun. After that, I had lost my Dsi with Pokémon Platinum in it for about a year. After I found it, and booted the game up again, I went to the GTS to get my craindos back. Not only did I get a level 50 Girantina, it was also a shiny. That is the craziest thing to happen to me, I want to hear your stories. Sorry if a thread like this already exists.

Unsure if this is crazy or not but on fire red the tutorial guy that shows you how to catch pokemon the weedle that showed was a shiny. Since then I have never found a shiny till XY with chain fishing.

I don't know about you all, but the craziest thing I've ever seen in pokemon is the "Super Glitch", just google pokemon super glitch and hopefully you'll find it.

Well coolest things I've achieved would probably be beating Cynthia in Pokemon Black and White with a team of level 1 pokemon (which wasn't too hard with the right moves and items) and beating Whitney with a Magikarp (Which was very VERY hard). Or when I found my first shiny pokemon which was completely unexpected as I found it in the waterfall outside the Pokemon League building in Pokemon Diamond. It was a Shiny Wingull and though I never used it I was quite happy about it.

I found a shiny Whismur while doing some tests in Pokemon Aquamarine. I was not expecting it at all! And I ended up killing it

The craziest thing for me is when in Pokemon Platinum I ran into the zapdos while I was trying to capture it
I throw my master ball...... *1 shake*....... *2 shakes*.......... *3 shakes*.......... *MASTERBALL opens !?!?!?!?!*

I stopped playing for 3 weeks...

Being killed by a magikarp using tackle when playing against one of my friends. That was quite embarrassing but would probably be a funny video to make. He had a decent magikarp as in level wise but I can't remember what level it was.

I can not decide, which of both is the "craziest thing", for me, both were rare moments and I think, that I got luck, that both moments were happening to me.

I was playing the Crystal-Version on my Game boy Color, but by mistake I beat one rare Pokemon (I think, it was in the Crystal-Version, but I am not sure, if it was Suicune, Raikou or Entei). I trained my Feraligatr to level 100 and I did not knew, that these Pokemon should appear once in the game only (at least I did not knew it, when I was fighting them). So I kept on trying to catch them again, but as I heard about "being not able to catch these Pokemon again", I still did not gave up, I continued searching for them. As I entered a grass-area (where low-level Pokemon are appearing), I encountered one of them again, it just stayed for one turn. I am not sure, if I caught this Pokemon, or it fled (because I did not knew, it will just stay for one turn, or if I did not had a high-success-rate pokeball or any pokeball at all in my inventory).

The second moment (on another day, but I think, it was in the same game-version), I encountered my first Shiny-Pokemon, but I was not sure, why it is having another color any shining. I was trying to catch these Pokemon, I was also trying to get every Pokemon, which is available on the pokedex, so I was happy to catch some Pokemon with a different color, even I caught the same Pokemon with it's original-color already. At first, I thought, that it is a graphical-issue or there are some issues, but then I read an article about it.

YSkipperY, I saw videos of that glitch too, this Pokemon is called "Missingno", I think, it has to do with the word "missing" and a shortcut for the word "number", like it would be +1 slots for this Pokemon, which isn't exactly a Pokemon. I heard, that it's the result of all Pokemon in once, which is called "Missingno", but maybe it's just requiring +1 slot, but it isn't available, so this Pokemon got created?

I had a dream where I was playing Pokemon X, and a found a wild Garchomp. At first I was like, "Eh, I'll have Sylveon breeze through it." And I almost did before I realized I was fighting a SHINY GARCHOMP. Lol.

I found a shiny Wingull at the start of Pokémon Emerald once. I had like, one Poke-ball with me and had no idea what a shiny Pokémon even was. I think I was about seven when it happened . I ended up losing it after trading it to Pokémon White unfortunately. That cart ended up being corrupted by a Action Replay and I never saw Wingull again .

The coolest thing to happen to me was finding 2 shiny pokemon in a day while in soulsilver while just playing regularly being my 2nd and 3rd shiny pokemon ever (excluding the red gyarados) in any Pokemon game. However the craziest thing I have ever achieved is beating Whitney with a Magikarp. Yes you heard that right it took a lot of grinding and attempts but I beat Whitney with Magikarp... Now if only I had footage of it :c

The craziest thing that ever happened to me in Pokemon was when I was searching for a Latios in Pokemon Diamond in GTS. I didn't have a Pokemon with the same as it so I decided to offer a starter for it. A few days later, I went back to the GTS and I received a level 100 Latios with such awesome attacks! I couldn't have been happier!

I was playing a Nuzlocke game once in Fire Red Omega (a rom hack with all gen 3 and lower Pokes), and a Togetic metronomed Thunderbolt on my Gyarados.
I cried a little bit after that.

Once in online play one of my battles came down to my opponent's mega Aerodactyl vs my Mega Mewtwo Y. His Aerodactyl had higher speed all he needed to do was hit mewtwo with a stone edge and it would've been KOed and I would've lost the match. His stone edge missed and I took down aerodactyl with a thunderbolt and I won the match!

Haha, your GTS story reminded me of my own GTS story xD.

I was playing Pokémon White (my story is so similar to yours xD). I wanted a girl Tepig so I could have a whole bunch of starter Pokémon to trade for legendary Pokémon. Well, to get that, I would need to go through the GTS. I didn't want to trade anything that I needed a lot, but I also knew I needed to trade something worthy for a girl Tepig. Well, I thought about it, and I thought about it... Eventually, I came to the conclusion that it was impossible. I ended up putting up a very weak and uncommon Pokémon. This Pokémon was named Golett. It happened to be level 30... Yeah, I asked for a girl Tepig as a joke, just like you.

I never expected to actually get one. Who would? Well, I checked my game the next day, and what do you know? I got a girl Tepig! It was so random! Why would someone give me such an amazing Pokémon for such a weak and stupid Pokémon? That person would... To be fair, the person was probably a hacker, but most of the Pokémon in the GTS are hacked Pokémon. I trained up the Tepig into an Emboar and I put my male Emboar and female Emboar in the day care so they could "do their stuff." I did this for a while and ended up getting over a hundred eggs that all contained Tepigs... I was doing it to try and get a shiny. I found out there's like a 1/20 chance of getting a girl Tepig from an egg, so I only got like 6 or 7 of them. I traded them in the GTS for some amazing Pokémon (legendaries) and I trained up 2 more Emboars to level 100.

I ended with 3 level 100 Emboars and they were able to take down the Elite Four and champion by themselves. That doesn't sound impressive unless you know that the levels of their Pokémon are levels 71-78. Then I lost my 3DS along with my Pokémon White which was inside the 3DS. I still haven't found it and I have given up on finding it . Anyway, I hope to do the same thing in the new Pokémon games when I buy them . Peace .
