Gays are so wonderful. I love em... and I was wondering...How is Vizzed gay community? Is it alot? I wonder... There are gay people who are just as mean, unfeeling, offensive, and rude as the worst straight people.  There are straight people who are wonderful and a joy to be around.

When you start saying "I love the gays" you start creating a fake expectation of every single one.  Even if it's a positive light, it groups them together and points out their homosexuality as the major factor of their personality.

Gays, straight, bi, whatever, we're all people.  I have gay friends who don't want to be lumped into the group of delightfully funny, well-dressed, woman-friend-having television personalities.  They're humans, they're people, they have their ups and downs like everyone else and their little squabbles.

Please don't group gays all together with a blanket statement like, "Gays are so wonderful."  I know you mean no harm but it can be hurtful because, again, you're valuing their sexuality above any other personality trait and you're grouping them into one mass block.

That's not fair.

I wouldn't know how many users on Vizzed are gay, since I don't make it a mission to find out about everyone's personal life, but I know that this site accepts people for all kinds of things. I mean, I'm bisexual, and have never gotten crap for that.

But, that said, warmaker is on the money. There is no real difference between being gay or straight outside of the type of person you like.

What I came to say has already been said by warmaker and Legacy. It matters about the person, not the sexual orientation.

And yes, Vizzed is very accepting of everything really. It's a really nice community, which is one of the many things I love about it.

And yes, I am gay. Well, complicated situation, because of reasons, but yes, I am gay.

Im gay myself but i agree with everyone else. Sure gay people might there nice..but there just like everyone else. You are who you are no matter the orientation.

To answer your question about quantity, Vizzed has a vast amount of bronies and furries. Most, though not all, are homosexual. There are also many bisexuals.

But I see why you say "Gays are so wonderful, I love em." I don't know why, but most of them seem extra friendly and/or happy. Most of them, not all. Like everyone else said, you can't judge the whole lot of them. Some of them are friendly, some are asses.

Religion says we are created equally but we are different. Now Nazis thought they were superior and well they lost.
Maybe the guy who nobody talks to because he is gay, brony, emo, nerd, furry, gamer, rocker, autistic or anything other ( that can be used to categorize people ). He could be a genius an artist or your best friend.
Even genders count here. Because " there can't be friendship between a boy and girl "

So my opinion summed up: Everybody is unique, nobody can be categorized.

Supercool and maguc are the only gays that I know of on here, but there are a good amount of them. More than most internet communities, I would say. As mentioned above, there are a lot of bisexual people as well. And why can't you just talk to girls about guys?

I find it funny that no other female has responded to this. I will agree that religion cloaks us in fear of what is accepted and what is not accepted to people. Most are afraid of what others think or will act. Thinking "Why what if this" or "What if that", Maybe we should get that out of our head and just accept it and say it without any strings attached. If people are so hung up on that small fact about you, then they can leave, they shouldn't be there in the first place if they were your so called "Friend" if one things changes, apparently all of you changes, when it inst true. This is most certainly an accepting website and a free world where you can have your own option. Whether you express them or not is totally up to you. I am Bisexual and I am proud of it.

I will be honest in saying I haven't told many, but I'm over that. I just get way too worried sometimes, Tis a bad habit of mine.

Pokefreak219 : I don't think it's simple religion that makes people afraid of what is accepted and not accepted.  Humans are the most social animals in the world and we rely on each other to survive.  We have social connections like Facebook and Twitter and we have our friends and family to support us.  People have a drive to meet other people and have communities.  That's why Vizzed works so well.  Everyone here has a common interest and we end up befriending each other.

Repeated surveys show the fear of public speaking is stronger than the fear of death.  That is because humans are afraid of being rejected by a large population or even a small group.

People are all trying to fit in.  The most popular athlete at school and the kids that seem to have things easy are struggling as much as everyone else to find friends and maintain them.  It's good to take pride in any characteristic you have.  Whether you wish to share it is up to you.

I live in a city where a particular team is extremely popular.  I don't tell a lot of people I really enjoy the success of their rivals.  It would get me kicked out of a bar I like to go to.

I'd be surprised if there was any open homophobic people here, and if there was then I doubt the moderators would tolerate them if they started to become homophobic - which is why I believe this is a great forum.

As for myself? I'm openly bisexual/pansexual/asexual/demisexual - My true sexual orientation can't be pinpointed to one sexuality, it swings depending on my mood and what I see.?
