Do you know how it feels to have problems? Or do you have a disease it can be 5 times harder than normal people live everyday it is just that I really want some friends that know how it feels to be different well I hope there is not only for my sake but for everyone with problems (maybe we can have chat sometimes) but there can still be good things left hope to chat

(if someone want to know my problem then send a private message)

I'm with Monster on this.  We're all unique, we're all different and the 'normal' idea is a person who's very much average.  There really isn't a normal when it comes to the variety of personalities, experiences, backgrounds, cultures, nationalities, languages, interests, abilities, fears, likes, dislikes, lifestyles, and so on.

Everyone is different and we're all trying to socially fit in and feel accepted and welcome.  That's a basic human drive.

Everyone has problems so this question simply drives people to focus on their own 'negatives' and downfalls.  Why not be positive and think of a question that celebrates difference, diversity, and how we all still work together.

"Do you know people who are different and are still friends with each other?"

That's a good one.

Everyone has problems. It's not about what problems we're faced with, its about how we deal with them.

The question being asked "being different from normal?" The answer to that is that everyone is different in a way that suits them, as for me, well, you can really say, I am pretty normal guy (cue the sarcasm).

How it is, it really depends on how these people are treated internally and externally, and how their lives all turned out, so basically, it depends on a certain person you really look at.

Anyways, this thread is more of a Café Corner discussion rather than a Debate discussion, so I'll move it there.

Well that would depend on what we consider to be normal.

If I were to say myself, I'd say I'm not normal. I've got disorders, yeah. They don't affect how I act though. But It's the things I enjoy and what I spend my time on and things in that nature that I would say would set me apart from other people. I like to be repetitive and I love to draw creatures that are way off from what I actually call them. *cough* cats *cough* That might seem a bit off to people, and I wouldn't blame them.

For example, have you ever seen, say, a commercial from another country, let's say Japan? It's odd to you because it's different from the norm of your country. But if someone from Japan watched a commercial from your country, they'd probably think your a freak too, because It's different from their norm.

I guess what I'm trying to say is there's no solid definition of the word Normal. We're all different, And so there can't really be a normal.

I think I'm practically copying everyone here when I say there really is no normal person in this world. We're all unique. There may be "normal" people in movies, but honestly, a normal person is not a thing. This normal person came from people thinking they're worthless in life, and they were just average, but everyone has a purpose in this world. Even people who work at burger joints. They have things to live for, and they kinda ARE contributing to society.

I guess by normal, you mean no talents and skills? Well in that case, that's what's unique about you. You're a fraud with no talent. But you still have a purpose in life. I really wanna know what you think a "normal" person is, because I'm lost here trying to figure out this "normal" you speak of. When I was young, I thought I was "normal," but then I realized all these talents and skills I had, and that I had a piece to fill the puzzle of society. And I was right. I invest my time in music, tutoring, and law. Those things are just three of all the things we need in this world. You may think you're nothing, but sooner or later, you'll think the opposite. You may think you're "normal" for your whole life, but if that's the case, I got nothing for you
