So every one knows the Windows 8 of course, has awesome technology. So if there was Windows 9, what will you expect to be like? I expect that it can contain 4G, the laptop you can take it with you as an iPad. What do you think guys ? If there's a thread already like this, I apologize

I dont think you understand what 4g is. Its nothing to do with the operating system, and in fact you can already use 3g and 4g on pcs/laptops/tablets if you care to.
Equally windows 8 wasnt as popular as you seem to think.

I hope that they remove those useless tiles. The OS takes up way more memory than it should. It is irritating me, especially seeing as I want that memory for stuff that I actually use.

More importantly, people that buy a Microsoft system (phone, tablet, pc etc) Will be more likely to then buy other windows systems because they are familiar with it. Its infuriating for people that dislike it (especially because the tyle system was designed for touch systems), but its also exceptionally clever.

Linux isnt actually a single O.S.
There are hundreds of different O.S's running the linux system, but linux is really just an open source O.S.
Both android and IOS(iphone O.S) are in fact linux systems(fun fact most supercomputers also use linux).
In many ways Linux is better, but its also got drawbacks like the lack of support from many types of software. Thats beggining to change though.

thenumberone : I have to agree with you that the touch screen system is pretty clever indeed but I don't like it on a normal computer. That's my opinion on it but I'm not sure what other people think of it. On the other side, sometimes you just need to get used to things so maybe that's why I still don't like it that much.

Well I would expect it to be much better than Windows 8 and if that is the case, then it would be just pure awesome. This year I was first introduced to Windows 8 for my phone and then for my laptop and I feel that it's just amazing and state of the art. If Windows 9 is even just a little bit better than WIndows 8, I will be amazed and shocked because then I would pretty much be able to do whatever I want because there would be so many features.

Windows 9 is going to be a piece of crap with ads spammed everywhere. It'll force you to use explorer so if you even try to use chrome it'll blow up. 
On the plus side it will be faster, maybe when you're not using explorer.

When I first saw this thread, I thought someone was saying that  Windows 9 was soon to be released.  As much as I hate Windows 8, I was about to be super upset.  I don't want to be forced to get accustomed to a NEW OS. 

(As a side note, I wonder if there is anybody at all that likes Windows 8?)

I think Windows 9 will be more customer-friendly.  After all the negative feedback I'm sure Microsoft is getting, surely they'd make some good changes?  For example, giving us the option to not have the tiles on our computers at all, and including a start button?
