Don't you know about Mewtwo's new mega evolutions? They are different in X and Y. What would you prefer? The skinnier type that exercises, Mega Mewtwo Y? Do you like Mega Mewtwo Y for how he impersonates Jessie? Or would you prefer Mega Mewtwo X, the one that's more buffy and doesn't impersonate Team Rocket? 

Which one would you prefer? I'd choose Mega Mewtwo Y. I love the fact that Jessie would love that Pokemon for it's skindo. But it's all your opinion in this one,  but all based on design and awesome poses, not actual stats. But you can mention stats when explaining why you love it so much. But seriously, try to keep it design wise, okay?

Personally I prefer MegaMewtwoY because of its personal base advantages. Why change something to psychic fighting if it has more special moves than physical? But base by design I would have to go with X one because the tail moving to behind the head sorta creeps me out with such a change..

I like Mega Mewtwo X personally, it looks better, and I also think the distribution of stats are also better as well. Its attack is really amazing though and that has to be the most noticeable stat which can max out at 526. Overall I just find that mega mewtwo x is better in all areas, all of its stats are well above average, whereas mega mewtwo Y has below average defense which is a bit disappointing. My opinion might be biased because I only have pokemon x, but that is just my personal opinion. I really should take the time to level up my mewtwo though just by looking at those stats.....

I personally prefer Mega Mewtwo X because I like it better, I think it fits better with mewtwo as a mega evolution and I think it's just more interesting then it's Y counterpart and this is coming from someone who only owns Y (which I mostly picked up for other exclusives namely Dragalge). With that said I do still like them both though I would probably almost never use either of them because I feel they're too overpowered and would break the game (unless i'm in a mood of just being as overpowered as I possibly can). I find it kind of interesting how they're even stronger then Arceus suggesting that man created something that bests the god pokemon (since mewtwo is man made). Unless Arceus gets a mega evolution... Megamewtwo X is my favorite (saying that I have X) because I have X and it looks cooler, and the stats are better for how I would use a mew two. But how the Mega Pokemon are over powered, I would choose a normal mew two over the Mega Evolutions.

It all really comes down to what you want it to be. Honestly though I think they messed up mewtwo X with that additional fighting type and also a high attack when it is clearly more of a special attacker. If they were to have changed it, they should of made it like psychic/dark or poison or something, almost anything else would've been better as long as it doesn't mean having a higher attack. Let's compare each one in depth shall we?

Attack: 110
Defense: 90
Special Attack: 154
Special Defense: 90
Speed: 130

Attack: 190 (+ 80)
Defense: 100 (+10)
Special Attack: 154
Special Defense: 100 (+10)
Speed: 130

Okay, so what you have here is a fast hitter with decent defenses. Its really a shame though since the only good attack move that would be worth teaching it include: brick break, earthquake, poison jab for status, stone edge, psycho cut, and fling. There are a few others, but they are either low power or accuracy, and they don't provide any coverage. If it were up to me, I would've given it 15 in both defense and special defense putting it at 105 each, and then I would've put 20 in speed which would put it at at 150 (tying with the two fastest mega evolutions) and then I would've put the other 50 into special attach which would put it at 204 which is devastating. But I guess they added it into regular attack just for variety.

Attack: 150 (+ 40)
Defense: 70 (-20)
Special Attack: 194 (+40)
Special Defense: 120 (+30)
Speed: 140 (+10)


With this mega, you have a really fast special attacker with great special defense and average defense (which isn't really that important) Its special attack is off the charts and his speed is great too. 


Overall, I would say that Y is better because its move pool and the moves it can learn, suit its high special attack, it also has a pretty high attack as well, so it is possible you could run a physical mewtwo Y (although I don't know why you would.) Again though, it all depends on what you hope to accomplish and get out of your pokemon.

Mega mewtwo-Y, it already has the plethora of special attacks, much more than the it's physical move pool, and it has the highest special attack in the game, in the Gen that special attacks were nerfed, this is a huge deal!

Besides its design, the X form stood out to me because of its offensive capabilities. It really depends on what you like and use, but having good Attack and Special Attack provides interesting sweeping options. You have something for Special Defensive Pokemon and for Physically Defense Pokemon.
