Today, after being a member for 8 months and 6 days, I have finally made my 5000th post and here it is. This was a fun 5K, I had a few really good ones and I loved all the time that I had spent on this site. I spent a lot of time here with you guys to make it this far and I don't want to quit because it's so much fun to be here and talk about whatever is happening.

Soon enough I will hit 10000 posts but I doubt it will be as easy as this 5K. It took just more than 8 months to get this, but I will be glad if this next 5K take less than 12 months, so my goal is to hit 10K by April 31st 2015. I hope that by the time I get there I have made many more friends and that i have many additional great memories of my time on this site.

For this 5000 posts, I have averaged about 20.3 posts per day and i averaged 63 words per post for a total word count just below 320K.

You, tgags, and Eidetic in particular have built up really high post counts in a short amount of time.  If you keep at it, you may very well pass Leggy before you know it!

And I'll just weep in this corner as a 4-year member.....jk jk

zanderlex : Congratulations my friend, you're very active with posting and everything else on the site. I'm sure you will reach your next goal, if you won't, then I'll bug you until you've reached it

Wow you were here only like 26 days before me and have 5000 when I am still working on a 1000.  
 
 Congrats on 5000 and now the next 5000 will be even more difficult. I would say you can hit 10k by that time.

awesomeguy279 : I averaged so many posts per day, I can't believe I was able to average out over 20 per day for the entire time I was a member and it only seems to be rising, though I dont see any reason for me to be able to keep up this pace, by the time I finish my 1st year here I will probably be so tired from all the posting that I am going to have to take an extended break for posting, like 5 days to a week.

If I can manage to at least replicate the speed of the first 5K, I might be able to hit 10K by the end of February, and just in February, my goal for 10K was the end of 2015.

It's impressive that you reached such a high post count in such a short time!  Hope it's just as easy to get to 10k post mark as it was to reach 5k for you!

If juuldude : brains are melting from a 1000, i'm thinking that all your brain cells died already cuz you're at 5000 posts. Wow. That's impressive imo.

Congratulations on the Milestone. Based on what i'm seeing, reaching 10K posts is not going to be a huge deal to you (Of course, if you want to reach 10K posts ^^)

Vinny_953 : Meh. 5K was a big deal to me and it was even bigger since just 3 weeks ago I was expecting to get it in July, so 10K would probably mean the same to me as the day I graduated Higjh School. By the way, my brain is just fine. Sure, I am onyl getting 3-4 hours of sleep per day, but my brain is fine. It's my fingers that are dead.
