How do you have your bacon cooked? Pick which you like more for chewy/crunchy, but pick which you have more for stovetop (frying pan)/microwave.

I don't really like bacon too much, but when I eat it I prefer it chewy and less cooked. We almost always cook it in the microwave, but for special occasions we do it in a frying pan.

I like mine crispy, with a small amount of chewiness.  The combination of textures is the best way to experience bacon as a standalone product, in my opinion.  It might be better different ways in different recipes, though.

FUN FACT: My cousin ate a lot of bacon on his last birthday, even after finding out he had a bacon allergy.  He LOVES bacon.

I like my bacon dark and crunchy and that is the way I like all meats, not like charcoal burned, but I like crunchy over chewy and fleshy. I don't like it when it is so crunchy though, a balance between the two is just right. I prefer sausage over bacon any time, but whenever we do decide to have bacon for breakfast, it is usually placed in a pan and cooked like that. I have tried it when it was chewy and it didn't taste very good in my opinion. Interesting thread.

I enjoy my bacon chewy because whenever it is crunchy it falls apart to easily and has sort of a burnt taste to it.
 
 I also like it better in the frying pan because it makes it a bit more greasy than usual. I mean I do not like a lot of grease but there is hardly any when you cook bacon in the microvave.

Crunchy all the way nothing is better then some nice crunchy bacon. Yum  makes my mouth water just thinking about it. I cant think of anything that doesn't go with crunchy bacon. I have even had ice cream and chocolate bacon.

I like it to be as close to raw as it possibly can. I have a really strange thing for un-cooked meat. I know, it's really weird.

For my bacon I always bake it in the oven now-a-days. I just love using those baking sheets, they absorb most of the oils from the bacon and it always comes out crispy when ever I place a metal pan on top of the bacon's ( of course under ).

For my family and me, we buy the Kirkland Signature pre-cooked bacon slices, so they're already cooked to that chewy consistency, but then they're cold... So we cook them in our microwave additionally, and it brings it up to the crunchy that we all so enjoy. My family likes crispy bacon more than chewy, but we'll eat it that way too. Bacon is wonderful no matter how it is. Of course, once my mother tried switching us over to turkey bacon, and it's not just the same (though on a separate note, I preferred the turkey bacon chewy over crunchy, as opposed to regular bacon).
