I've decided to go ahead and host 2 more minecraft competitions, next week being the last one.

Create a water structure on any large body of water. Once this competition ends, staff will vote on which structure they think is the best. Staff will vote based on complexity, presentation of the video and/or screenshots, and the overall look.

What consists of a Watercraft? A ship, boat, submarine, yacht, barge, etc. Islands do not count.

To enter, simply record a video or take a screenshot of your completed Watercraft and submit it to this thread. Be sure to give your submission a title.



If you plan to take a screenshot:
To take a screenshot in Minecraft, all you have to do is press F2. If you want to take the screenshot without the menus, press F1 to remove the menus. If you want to change your perspective, press F5. For more information on Minecraft screenshots and for where to find them, go here:

You can either upload the screenshot to the Photo Album and than embed it to your post or you can upload the screenshot with your post, screenshots posted any other way don't count (they have to be hosted on vizzed). The Photo Album can be found here:

If you choose to do a video:
You can use Camtasia (probably the best and has a free trial available), Camstudio (free), Xsplit or any other program to record with. You may also edit the video however you want, just make sure it is less than 5 minutes long.

Once you've recorded the video, you'll want to upload it to the Vizzed YouTube page and add it to the game's page in the Video Game Room. You can do this by going to the game's page (link found below) and then scroll half way down the page to the 'Minecraft User Submitted videos' section and click the 'Click to Upload your Video to Vizzed Youtube' link. Once the video has been uploaded, be sure to place a link to it to this thread, otherwise your submission will not count.



It's recommended that you place a claim around your Watercraft (tip: create the foundation first and than create the claim). If you don't make a claim around your watercraft, you'll be unable to remove blocks if you make a mistake and other users will be able to make a claim on your watercraft and potentially destroy it. I've created a bunch of 3x3 wooden rafts throughout the main world on top of the water in various areas, you can use these to start building from (you can see a screeshot of what I mean below). Make sure your watercraft isn't so big that it touches any piece of land. Also, you can find stairways that lead to the water on the bridge from Iggy Land to Vizzed Ville and on the bridge from Geeo's Island to Vizzed Ville.

Here are the prizes:
1st: US $25 or 37,500 Viz / MViz
2nd: 20,000 Viz / MViz
3rd: 10,000 Viz / MViz

I can pay you by either PayPal or by buying something online for you. If your structure was built by more than 1 user, than the earnings will be split.

Hmm, I have an idea for this contest so I might give it a shot. I'm going to see if I can make it. Though, if I manage to create it, it'll a homage and I'll be proud because it's really meaningful for me.

is it a creative server or survival?

I have never made a watercraft before, so I might give it a try over the last couple days.

HEADBANGER995 : Both. The main world is a creative world (but in survival mode) and then there's a world called Genrody which is completely survival with the difficulty set to Har.

If I can, I'll just redo my bote from the structure competition.

This is a faithful recreation of the famous 18th century pirate ship, as recorded in the diary of its captain, Silverbeard the Fierce!*

Everything, from the cannons to the sails have been recreated to the best of our abilities using all resources available to us. To maintain realism, the cannons and the anti-boarding defenses have been made fully functioning. However, for the safety of our visitors, the cannons are not armed (The anti-boarding defense is, but we have taken every precaution to protect our visitors from accidental injury from the projectiles).

Those interested in touring will find it securely docked in a pond near 65x 267z, on the Unclaimed Island. The entrance will be left open whenever possible, to allow open tours. Admission is free!

*As far as I know, there is no real ship by this name ever, nor a "Silverbeard" besides an internet moniker someone has that I just found out.

I worked on this for so long.This is a airship boat,it may not look like one but it has some cannons,villagers live on here,flags of a emerald and custom emerald and a turbine to make the ship fly,it has a automatic computer system in the enclosed area where the villagers can fix

Curse my erratic building times and schedule. I literally just saw this competition, and I was spending the last week building a 1:1 replica of the "Theater Ship M.S. Prima Vista" from FF9 in my own server. (so many sleepless hours O.O). Oh well I'm sure what ever people build will be amazing.

David, something worries me a bit with my submission. It's a tribute to a famous person and I used a medley of one of his famous cartoons. The video is ready and I'm planning of giving the credits to the respective owners in the description of the video. But I don't want to ruin the career of the Vizzed channel with my submission. You know Youtube, even with a disclaimer, there's 50% of chances they leave the video as it is. That's why I'm worried. I tried to find a remake of the song, I just found that decent medley re-orchestrated. Nowadays, it's really hard to make a tribute to a famous person

Finally I managed to get a compatible size for my submission. This is what it looks like atm, I actually plan to completely dismantle it once the contest is over. It has a fancy engine inside, 6 individual rooms complete with a bed, enchanting table, anvil, craft table, furnace, brewing stand and a double chest in each, there also is a level 30 enchant table times 2. Im gonna collect gunpowder and sand for tnt, so when i dismantle it. It will go out with a big bang. Do not worry, ill mine the important things first before i layer it with a tnt crowd. Make sure to be online when it happens.

Well then, time for me to submit my creation with the plan B: the screenshots. I made a video but I was worried about a little something so I'm going to keep it and eventually upload it somewhere else, as a bonus after the contest. I don't want to seal the fate of the Vizzed channel with my submission, I would be so sad. But, keep in mind that it's really hard nowadays to make a tribute to a dead person (thanks Youtube and its new policy... oh and copyrights, let's not forget that). Anyhow, here is my submission for this contest, introduced via some screenshots. Enjoy, folks!
