Since it's the end of the year, we're going to do this big test soon. I've already started studying for it. Since I'm an A student, I hope my grade will be good. It's for the most part a math test, which is my best subject, but I'm not the best test taker. Have any advice or me? Anyways, wish me good luck.

Well, I wish you the best of luck on it man, I've had my share of final exams and SOL tests so far, but now that the National AP exam is out of the way, I can divide my focus between my other classes better now that it is out of the way. I mainly have Spanish, English, Economics and personal finance and Art final exams and that is about it. Most of the stuff is common sense and pretty easy considering I have A's in all of those classes.


As for advice, I would recommend that you study the things that you struggled with or didn't make sense to you because it might just show up on the exam,and there is no point in going over stuff you are already good at. I would also try and hit some of the stuff you learned at the beginning of the year just to be safe in case it pops up on the test. Other than that, just be sure to study  in a good environment without distractions, remember, study smarter not harder! Also make sure that you get a good night's sleep and some breakfast! PixelBrick : Here's a bit of advice, dont come back to vizzed until after the tests, too many distractions. I learned that the hard way. Also, I hope that you do very good. Study hard me great acquantince.

PixelBrick, is it some sort of standardized test? What I'm really asking is, do you have access to past or similar exams? Working through those is probably the best thing you can do. You get both the times down and figure out what topics you don't know well.

If you don't have access to those, no sweat. The biggest thing is converting things you've learned into proficiency in problems about them. So work through problems! Also, making a concise study guide helps in numerous ways. Youtube and online teacher sites can be a life-saver when it comes to confusing concepts.

But the best advice I can give you? Make a plan and follow through with it. See how much time you want to spend studying per day and make a plan about how you want to spend it. Then follow through with it. That way, you maximize the time you spend studying doing what counts. Last but not least, follow the 80/20 rule, which says that 80 percent of the results comes from 20% of the work. In other words, prioritize.

PixelBrick : Good luck on your exam! I am good in math too. I just took a calculus class in college and I got an "A" in the class. I am going to summer school for some classes: Public Speaking and English 102, so hopefully I do good in those classes. Then in the Fall, I am going to take a business math called Math 218. I agree with zanderlex, that you should not come back to vizzed until you complete your exam because when you do you set yourself up for the mindset of playing games and having fun, instead of just studying for the exam.

PixelBrick : Good luck on your Finals! I have finals for Algebra class. I am taking Algebra in 7th grade, and this will be my first final exam ever! I am taking Algebra in 7th grade because you have to qualify for it. And I did, so yeah. Anyways Good Luck, and wish me luck too!

Luckily, I've been studying since May 1st (That's no joke actually), so I'm confident.

I don't have advice, except for: "If you're studying on the day before the test... Oh boy"
