You could tell that by the end that Spain had just given up.

Congrats Netherlands. They clearly had the energy and drive to take their revenge.

I don't think Spain's done just yet, and I look forward to a possible rematch later on in the tournament.

EideticMemory : The problem with Spain is that they lose their confidence after they start to fall behind a goal or two. But once they get a good play in they get it back. Look at Casillas, he was off his game until he got some amazing blocks. After that he was back to his old self.

Holland although they played very rough showed great determination. They had an interesting strategy of kicking it all the way to the goal area and then maneuvering it into the net. If they hadn't have fouled so much Spain wouldn't even have a goal as it was because of a penalty they got it. It's essentially like having 0-5.

Chile vs Australia is starting soon. Chile has been rated as a side and is said to be good this year. We shall see.

Oh my gosh! Naymar! I love him! He is totally  not overrated. I'm going for Brazil because they're hosting it... Why not?

This was a really interesting day Spain vs Netherlands there's is nothing left to say they got destroyed. Australia vs Chile was nice but then Chile scored twice and gosh I did not expect that. Mexico's game was alright though I did feel them a little slower and passive than the other teams but that is just their playing style not going to mess with it. What do you think about tommorrow's games? Which one are you looking foward to the most. Do you think England-Italy will be any more thrilling than the game of Spain-Netherlands?? 

Collapz3 : I think Spain vs Netherlands is going to be the most talked about game for a while. That was crushing. I feel bad for Spain even though I was rooting for Holland.

I'm going to be lookingg forward to England vs Italy the most. Rooney is surprisingly playing better but Gerrard and Lallana need to step up there game. Not so much Gerrard than Lallana. Englands offensive is sloppy when it comes to actually keeping possesion of the ball. The defense is decent and we have one of th best goalies. Joe Hart is ranked highest next to Cassilas. Hopefully this won't be a 0-0 game like it is with every England game lately.

Your right yesterday was like one intense day for Netherlands. One goal after another and then chill stepped up to show everyone what they was made of! What a day indeed. I think the second day play off was the best. What do you think? And England is playing today lets see how well they do. ^-^

Nobody expected Netherlands to crush Spain like that. I'm still shocked about the results. I may be Dutch, but I'm certainly not a fan of the Netherlands.
Although I love England, I want Italy to win the next match

Here is my opinion on the matches.

Brazil-Croatia 3-1:
I was surprised to see Croatia putting up such a good fight in the first half. Especially their keeper. It was also interesting that all goals were made by Brazil in fact since the goal from Croatia was an own goal. I haven't seen the second half but everybody says that Brazil didn't deserve a penalty.

Mexico-Cameroon: 1-0
These two teams were very equal. Both did very well and each team had great chances. I thought it was going to end 1-1 as Cameroon had amazing chances and started to put a lot of pressure when about 70 minutes had passed.

Spain-Netherlands: 1-5 Yes! We crushed Spain! Go Netherlands!
Unbelievable. Spain got their first point with a penalty but the Netherlands made a good comeback and ended the first half with 1-1. After that, things went quick. Spain wasn't doing its best and the Netherlands took advantage of this and crushed Spain. The goals from Robben van Persie and Arjen Robben were beautiful. Spain was giving up I think. I'm so happy because the last match against Spain was still in everybody's minds *cough finals in South Africa cough*.

Chili-Australia: 3-1
Chili is said to be a pretty strong team and I think that's true. The Australians did well and their goal was nice but Chili was just better. I'm curious how the Netherlands will do against them.

Colombia-Greece: 3-0
I haven't seen this match but I'm not very surprised. Greece has a decent team but Colombia is pretty strong.

Uruguay-Costa Rica: Currently playing, rest time, 1-0
I'm not watching this match at the moment so I can't give my opinion on it.

When I've seen more matches and have re-watched the matches I missed I will give my opinion about them again.

I had a feeling England wasn't going to win with the players that they had and all....though I wasn't able to watch the match....

Still hoping for that Brazil/Italy final.

Eniitan : The new players played well actually. It's the old ones lads that let us down. Gerrard and Rooney should be replaced. Barkley should be given a chance to start. Sterling played brilliant except for his final ball and Sturridge was good except he was always in the smae place when they got to the Italians goal area. Eventually they figured it out and the play was no good. Rooney had a few great plays like his pass to Sturridge but ultimately whenever he had a chance to score he would just blast the ball way too high. England also wasted half their free kicks and corners. Italy knows how to pace themselves and slowly and uses there chances effeciently. They had ball possesion for less than 70 percent of the game and they always played well when they did have the ball.

I see.....in a way its sad that they didn't win though. I have a feeling one of the player's might retire. Though I don't want to go assuming things such as this. but...its nice to hear that they did play well....

Swiss deserves the win. Ecuador screwed up their chances of winning and gave the counter attack to the Swiss, ultimately scoring the winning goal. The counter attack was great and Ecuador just stood there watching it happened, especially after that foul.

France vs Honduras is decent at the moment. Just 12 minutes in. I hope France wins
