Hello friends.It is i relinquish,The grammar rebel.Anyway,I have been watching the creator of soul eater's latest...Experiment.

Soul eater NOT.

I have to admit..I was annoyed when this first came out.When Atsushi okubo announced that he had a new soul eater anime coming out,I was excited.I thought "OH MY GOD,IS HE FINALLY GOING TO REBOOT THE SOUL EATER ANIME SO THAT IT FOLLOWS THE MANGA!?

And then...He announced this.Soul eater NOT.Yeah get the joke.It's NOT soul eater.But it also makes sense because the students are in the,NOT class.HA ha ha your so-FREAKING CLEVER OKUBHO!

Anyway.I got extremely depressed after this.But still,This guy made the first manga i ever read.And soul eater is the first manga set i ever completed. I have all volumes 1-25 of the original soul eater manga on my little nerd shelf of otaku goodieness (Thank god i speak Japanese though.As the last 6 volumes are not in English yet)

So i figured "Screw it!" I'm going to support this series.And see where it goes.So i ordered all volumes 1-3 from the awesomeness that is amazon.And i have to say,I would be lying if i said it was not interesting.Its very cool actually.It focuses on 3 little girls.Who are basically trying to adapt to the ways of the DWMA.And its quite funny.And oddly gripping.This really caught me off guard.As i thought this series was nothing more than fanfiction fuel at first.And i am starting to really like it.And i have been reading new issues monthly. (Once again.You gotta love having the ability to speak Japanese)

And then the anime came out just a few weeks ago.And once again..I really like it,Some fans may complain about the art style change.But its actually more closer to the manga's original art style.Which is actually quite ironic,And makes me laugh every time.You are complaining that the art style does not follow the original anime,But the original anime does not follow the original source material..Huh,Mind blown.

Anyway.You can find these episodes on youtube.Crunchyroll.Hulu.ETC. So for anyone who has seen this,What are your thoughts?

Anyways I thought the anime itself was 'okay' but it's probably not something I'm going to watch. I watched the first episode and saw all the old character references which was pretty good. But chances are they aren't going to be a part of the plot at all. I agree with a lot of the viewers about the art style change. I don't like it and it doesn't look as good.

I'm actually really upset they didn't just continue with the original Soul Eater and follow the manga. The ending was horrible and they really should have continued on with the manga. They haven't even defeated the Kishen in that yet.

And the Soul Eater NOT wasn't a joke lol. It's the name of the series because the kids are all part of the 'NOT' class.

I simply adore soul eater. Love the show. But I was sad of the ending in the anime. Little did I know that they was carrying on with the manga! Has it stopped, or is it still going? I tried to find the chapter I was on aka, the episodes that I watched. But I forgot if you don't read something in manga first, you end up getting confused when you eventually do. So um, can you tell me the chapter when uh kid finds out that the kishan is his brother please?
