This has been another great week on the Minecraft server. I didn’t get all the updates out that I had planned to do but we did get updates that weren’t originally planned which should be a great surprise for everyone (more on that in a few paragraphs).


This week we had 2 competitions conclude: the ‘Best Screenshot’ competition and the ‘Best Structure’ competition. lilwildwolf21 won the ‘Best Structure’ competition with his ‘Castle Island’; full results as well as a video of the top submissions can be found here: https://www.vizzed.com/boards/thread.php?id=75587. This week’s competition is ‘Best Pixel Art’ and can be found here: https://www.vizzed.com/boards/thread.php?id=75573. It’s a week long competition where all you have to do is put together the best pixel art on the Vizzed Minecraft Server in the “Open World”. Like the other competitions, the prizes consist of Cash, Viz and MViz so be sure to participate!


The biggest update this week (which I just added in fact) is the new world which I’ve called ‘Genrody’. You can find the entrance to this new world in the Vizzed Ville Town Square. The purpose of this new world is to have a place to gather resources to bring back to the main world, this new world is not meant to live in or to create stuff in (except for survival purposes). For users who don't want to invest Viz/MViz to buy stuff shouldn't have to but they should still have to earn their building materials in some way. The second biggest update this week is the Minecart Subway Station. This is an underground subway that connects most of our Minecraft world. The main station can be found underneath the Vizzed Ville Town Square. From the main station, you can travel to the Geeo Island, Iggy Land, Snow Island and Open World; this makes traveling a lot faster. The subway stations in both Geeo Island and Iggy Land can be found underneath the town squares of those town. The subway station on Snow Island can be found toward the front center of the island. The subway station in the open world can be found near the path that leads Vizzed Ville to the Open World (just follow the bedrock path, it’ll lead you to a small building).


IgorBird122 has an offer for anyone with a Birthday. If it is your Birthday (and you’ve been a member of the forum for at least 30 days), all you have to do is Send the Local Moderators a PM letting them know it’s your Birthday (on the day of your Birthday) and what your Minecraft username is. You’ll be sent 5000 MViz in Minecraft as a gift.


If you haven’t already, be sure to check out the big cathedral looking building that I created in the Town Square of Vizzed Ville. This is basically the center of our minecraft universe and its current primary focus is transportation. It has portals to the available worlds and it has a Subway Station that allows you to quickly travel to the various areas of the world. There are 2 stairways in the Vizzed Ville Town Square that lead down into the main subway station, these can be found toward the entrance on the inside of the building. The 2 stairways toward the back of the building will contain the portals.


Here's a very brief list of updates over the past week:

5-02-14:
-Installed Multiverse-Portals which will allow us to transport between worlds
-Added a new world titled 'Genrody' which will be dedicated to providing resources
-Added Nether and Genrody Portals to Vizzed Ville Town Square

4-30-14:
-The Minecraft Subway Station is finished and connects Vizzed Ville, Geeo Island, Iggy Land, Snow Island and Open World
-Davideo7 finishes the Vizzed Ville Town Square (mostly, still need portals added and a few other small things)

4-29-14:
-Development of the Minecart Subway Station begins
-IgoreBird122 finishes the Iggy Land Town Square

04-28-14:
-Users new to the server now start out with 1000 MViz instead of 100 MViz
-Made it so that you get 5 claim blocks for every 5 minutes you're on the server (previously 1 per 5 minutes)


A brief list of plans for the upcoming week:
-Finish the mall in Vizzed Ville
-Finish the Battle Arena in Vizzed Ville
-Finish the Bomberman Arena on the New Island and create Bomberman skins to be used for it
-Set up PvP Battle Arenas using the 'BattleArena' plugin
-Set up PvE Battle Arenas using the 'MobArena' plugin

Genrody might be interesting to look into. Great set of updates, I won't be on during the weekend though, I'm away for some work and won't be back late Monday.

Ah my "not forgotten" Tower of Wonders *cough cough* well, I don't want to go with that horrible joke, you know "the Tower of Wonders not so wonderful" because I'll get like a thundershock right on the top of my head from many people. Let's just say it needs more attraction and attention

If only we could see "The Trial" right behind The Empire State Building replica, that would have made my day, oh well. I can tell that I'm working on a new mini-game. Same gimmick but we slightly change the rules and the background. So there will be two mini-games available soon and randomly generated... by me. Yeah, don't question about this, just don't do that, please
