I'm not trying to be mean here, but this happened on DeviantART the other day, this CoD fanboy cussed me out and said "Pikachu must die in fire!".. Why is it that always CoD fans hate every other game? Also, this youtuber named Gilager13Vids is a CoD fanboy who cusses people out while making videos just about insulting people and rants about every other game other than CoD. What is going on with the internet? Sorry if this isn't in the right thread, I don't know where else to put this.

its simple, CoD fanboys consist of little 5 year olds.

Other than what kingvictory is saying they are addicted to CoD or they are trolling. Either way since CoD is so big and people hate people that don't play CoD they tend to try fitting by being like that.

Well, a lot of people that say that no other game compares to CoD are either trolling, or just die-hard fans.
But most likely what happened to you was in deed just trolling, he was trolling.

They are sad little kids who have nothing better in their life than to annoy other people.  One example was that one guy called the SWAT team because he was losing at Call of Duty. What is really sad is the people who play it for fun and don't do these silly things have to deal with them constantly.

I wouldn't say that they hate every game, but I have noticed that some good Call of Duty players really hate other First Person Shopter games like Halo. It's probably a pride thing. People who are good at CoD and can play it with ease probably don't want to try another FPS game because they are so comfortable with the one their playing that they don't want their dominance to be threatened by a different game.

I like CoD. I like other games. but i dont talk about video games at all to friends that i know. 

A lot of them are fitting into a certain social category. As soon as people hear that a game is "childish" they instantly express disdain. A lot of Call of Duty players fall into that sort of category. They are purely fueled by social roles and pressure. It does not only affect the younger Call of Duty players, but instead it affects a large majority of the players from all age groups. Adults do not like things that are childish because they do not want to be considered children and then denounce the other games. Children do the same thing, but are actually children. That cannot be the only reason though. Why do they hate other shooters? Probably as previously mentioned, they feel as if they are in control in Call of Duty. Since Call of Duty is easily-accessible and easily-playable by many different people, they feel the need to bag on other games that they are incapable of performing well on. Seems like it anyway. 

I like COD even though I only have one of the games i still am a fan since i like that game. I mean when one comes out i will not wait outside gamestop for it or even buy it.
 
 Well the reason is because they like making people think they are so good and dedicate their entire lives to it basically which makes them troll. They just like showing off because they are good at sitting in a bush and pressing r1.

They don't. I am a call of duty fan, and I love a ton of other games. There are just a few crazy cod fans who hate every other game that isn't call of duty and everyone who doesn't like it.

For starters I don't see how people even like Call of Duty. I don't play Call of Duty for a number of reasons, but my top reason is because I've had family members and friends of the family that has served and actively serve in the military and they don't like Call of duty because it reminds them of some of the tasks they had to perform during there duties as soldiers.

Back to the question of  Why do Call of Duty fans hate every other game?, well the answer is simple, they are all close minded individuals often between the ages of about 8-16 who have really never ventured out and tried any other video game genres except for the first hand shooter genre which Call of Duty has basically cornered that market. To be honest I find the Call of Duty fanboys quite stupid because they haven't realized they have been paying for the same game with the same core mechanics, story, and graphics for about the upper end of 5 years now  just upgraded to the new console that comes out. 

I know that it may be hard to say why people hate other game franchises instead of Call of Duty, but the reason is very simple. Call of Duty, in my truthful reasons, is a drug. It is a way to express the evil side of humans and their pathetic minds to make themselves the popular one. Online is an example why I stopped playing Call of Duty. I don't know why there is so much hatred and aggression against other people just like them. I saddens me to see these teens and kids turn themselves into self considerate jerks. Video games are not causing this by the way. It is the music of today that is brainwashing these people. Remember back in the 90's when Mortal Kombat was the most controversial game ever made? Parents were scared that their children would become criminals or bullies and do ruthless acts of violence to each other because of violent video games. We finally found out that Violent games aren't causing this. Pop, rap, and hip-hop are now the most popular music genres in the world. The lyrics in the songs of today's famous artist include sexual themes, profound language, partying, drinking, and committing crimes. I hate that the president, the government, or any other officials are not putting a stop to this. If they tried stopping the development of violent video games, why can't they stop the development of profound music. I feel like the world is ending. Not like destruction of major civilizations, but the decline of the human mind. It seems that we all must adapt to world of today. But it seems there is still hope for a better world of tomorrow. I just hope that it comes soon as possible. Maybe one day all of us will finally realize what we are doing to this planet we call home.

I'm a major Call of Duty fan and I've never seen any fan insult someone other than a Battlefield fan, which is unnecessary to do because Battlefield and Call of Duty AND Pokemon are all great games. A good chunk of the Call of Duty community consists of immature kids like that who were either trolling you or probably provoked at what you said and probably had no other comeback.

This is not really true. I hate CoD but I know a lot of CoD fans that play games like mario.

As a call of duty fan I most say I like any game if it's good an has a good story to it.

I used to be a Call of Duty fanboy for a period of time however I was mostly a fanboy for all the games that contained zombies in them. I actually only hated in other CoD titles that I didn't like the most (take Modern Warfare 3 as an example). Many of the fanboys I must say were little kids that had little to no experience with other categories of games. I would say that they hate on other games because they lack the knowledge it takes to make opinions about the game, or simply because they are too used to the ways of Call of Duty. I remember switching from CoD to infamous the controllers were different, the sensitivity was way slower it took me a good 30 minutes to get used to it.

I do not know why everyone generalizes about C.O.D. fans if they do not want the same to happen to them. My friends and I, we're in college, like to play some of the older C.O.D. games and just unleash on people after a hard day of class. I do not like to get on there and talk bad about people, but if you talk trash I will retaliate against you. I never talk bad about any games anyone else plays but it gets annoying when everyone says only children play C.O.D. You should not assume that everyone that plays C.O.D. is a little kid and hates every other game. There are 5 year olds that play pokemon, but i will not use that against you because I know not everyone is like that. So do not assume that everyone is a certain way.
