Actually, between David, Leggy and I we've got over 7% of all the posts on the board. The top 5 have about 10% of the total posts.

That is totally awesome! (I did not know that you even kept track of all of that much detail!) Like most "fun" forums, a massive amount of activity is done by a small number and the rest is a bunch of members doing tiny bits and pieces, so I would like to give a shout-out to the long-time heavy-posting regulars who have stuck with the site for years (assuming any read my post LOL)



Like all, I came here because of the games. I have not posted heavily because I usually focus on much small forums. By that I mean forums that are divided into fewer sections and have a smaller community because I like to read every new post when I pop on if possible. . . and there is no way that would be possible for me here. However, I come back to the forum from time to time because the community is always so friendly toward me and each other. Pat yourselves on the back for your general civility within a large crowd.



Here is hoping that the forum lasts another ten years with David still running the show and the community continues to grow while keeping the same level of spirit and enthusiasm as it always has!

I do believe in my opinion that Vizzed has the capabilities of getting onto bigger areas of entertainment like Twitch for example and I'd love if that happened. 
And if it wasn't for this site it's creators or any of the wonderful people in it I wouldn't be able to relive the memories I had growing up. 

Speaking of though, I wanted to thank you all for helping me get my stream started up that means a lot. 
I wish there was a way I could thank ye more.

This is really great! I'm loving the "double Viz per post" encouragement.
However, I'm feeling a "Spam incoming" is in order.

jnisol : It's awesome how most of the site's posters at one point came here daily for the games but now come here daily for the board.

steel_attacker : Two major milestones just a month apart. We also have 500,000 users milestone coming up which we'll probably hit toward the end of the year. That wont be as big of a milestone compared to 1 billion views and 1 million posts but it'll still be an impressive milestone.

Meatsim009 : Before the Retro Game Room existed, the forum itself had no real site attached to it so it didn't really have a real purpose, it was basically just a small community of users who had gaming in common.

Laian : You'll still get a Jersey or 2 from submitting your Walkthrough this month though

Darkpower508 : I belive 3% of the posts are mine lol. There was a time though when around 10% of the posts on the board were mine.

Wait what? Yiazmat is an actual boss from an RPG? What sadistic game developer created that?

The Retro Game Room took place many years after Vizzed.com and Vizzed Board were launched. I'd suggest going to the 'About Us' page and reading the history of Vizzed, it'll be a fun educational experience for you

kirbmanboggle : It's definitely an accomplishment that sets us aside from most other forums.

zanderlex : If we can some how manage to average 500 posts a day from now one, than it'll take 2000 days, which is 5 1/2 years. So in 2019 or 2020 we can expect to hit 2 million posts. Of course it could be sooner if the traffic continues to pick up and the overall posting rate also picks up.

Scohui : Most of the users alive right now will probably be dead when the site hits 1 million threads. I expect that accomplishment to take at least another 80 years. Even if the site's traffic and activity greatly increased, it'd still probably take at least another 40 years.

LCRain : Vizzed Board's 10 Year Anniversary is coming up at the end of the year and I've got plans for something very special.

Ryroe : Yeah and thankfully I never gave up on the site when it went through that drought. I remember a few users saying that Vizzed was done and better sites have replaced it. The funny thing is, those sites that "replaced" it are probably no longer around.

Beastmode64 : Vizzed is probably in the top 100 biggest gaming website in the world but no where near the top 10. Maybe someday though. As for "online gaming" website, I have no idea but it's probably near the top 10 or in the top 10.

geeogree : Between me and you, we probably accounted for 20% of all the posts on the site at one point.

The post with the id of 1,000,000 actually isn't the millionth post since many posts in the past have been deleted. We hit 1 million posts a few days after that post was made.

CobraGuy : The site keeps track of a lot of interesting stats.

TrixRabbit : Vizzed will eventually expand into bigger and broader areas.

MysteriousPanzer : The staff has already been on strict patrol lately with the Tour de Vizzed so I think the double Viz thing wont be to big of a problem.

Davideo7 : Yeah, I kind of just noticed that. Thanks for the comment though, makes me feel quite pleased with my art style. 

2014 is quite the year, first we get one billion views then a month or two later we get one million posts. Way to go vizzed, it'll be a while before 2 million comes along.

We're just hitting so much milestones, soon it's gonna be the tenth year of Vizzed, can't wait! ^.^

I also find it incredible that just the three of geeo, David, and I account for 7% of all posts on the site. That's incredible (and a little sad, when you consider I have been here for only like 1/3rd of Vizzed's lifetime) and a crazy thing to think about.

yeah, I just tracked down the post that had the ID of 1,000,000. I knew it wasn't the ACTUAL 1,000,000th post but at least it did get the ID number.

And while the one that is actually 1 millionth post still in existence was made after the one with ID 1 million still was the 1 millionth technically.

Either way it is a huge accomplishment. I'm lucky to have been around for almost all of those posts

You'd think post ID would equal post number. Oh well.
