What does one do, when your heart has been cut up in two? Do you try and piece it back together or leave it in it's broken state so it can't ever be broken again. When someone says that they love you, but only try to cover it up with a lie....and you feel as though you'd rather die than live through this lie.

Normally one would say that the blade of truth stings more but you don't feel as much guilt afterwards because you were told what really happened, how does one live though if that blade had the same stings as the truth but is instead only living through the entity of swarming rotten lies...do you become consumed by it or just let it crumble your body away?

Is death really all that frightening as people make it out to be? Maybe it's just a pathway to those that can finally rest in peace from all the suffering they've earned from living! Shall I take this path now, *grabs weapon* maybe I should I've have enough of this path it's become worse than the twisted wicked witch of the east.

First off, I highly doubt that using a weapon on yourself, for any reason, will do anything but hurt a lot of people. Obviously, nothing good will come of it. Suicide is selfish, and for the weak.

Secondly, you gotta realize that this is life. Crap happens. Whether you allow yourself to be defined by this pain, or decide to push through and move on, will dictate a TON about your future. You can wallow in the sadness, and eventually be consumed by it (personal experience says 'don't do it!'); or you can pick yourself back up and move on. What happens to you doesn't define you, but how you respond does. Your decisions now will affect your life for a long time, possibly years. Decide now to move on, rather than possibly have to fight off depression later.

My advice? Move on, don't dwell on it (as much as you can). It'll help a lot in the long run.

mrfe : I never actually will commit suicide, because like you said it's a cowards way out. I will move on, I've done this for the past 12 years but it'll take alot of time for sure.

If you're feeling suicidal, please slow down and talk it out with friends, relatives, and people who will listen.  If you're joking, never do that.  I had a friend who committed suicide and it is the worst thing you can do to others in your life.  

If someone lied to you, they aren't worth your emotion and thoughts.  Everyone is different so you'd be shutting the door on potentially wonderful people if you close off your heart and all that.

One person's hurt does not mean the other 5 billion people on this earth are going to hurt you, too.  Be open minded and talk to others.

Sonic, don't do anything hasty, like grabbing a weapon and...using it on yourself. Please calm down man. There isn't a soul here who hasn't been lied to, felt sad, all that. But, as a certain you yourself told me. You can't dwell on the past. We can only look forward. The point being, from personal experience, and lots of advice from friends, don't live in your sadness. Overcome it! Show your problems who's boss. Joy and happiness can be brought back to your life. But you're the one who needs to take the first step, and move from the bottom of the pit of depression, to the peaks of happiness.

Although I'm not gonna say a whole bunch about my own life, I have the opposite problem. I never been around any girls I liked. and that is true to this day. No one. No matches for me. But I don't let it destroy me either.


The desire for a partner is a very special desire given to us by our creator. It is also not good for a man to be alone.


Personally I've found some 12 years olds much better girls then some 16 year olds. But, I can't start anything because it would just lead to heartache down the road. Sadness may last for a season, and mourning is not wrong, but don't do anything . . . stupid in your time of mourning either. To many people do. Killing oneself just makes it all worse, and kills future happiness. I always live for tommorrow when today sucks. If you're Christian, prayer most certainly helps. I have been given comfort by my Heavenly Father when I need it and ask for it.


You are a lot stronger than this. It's just that right now your mind must cope, and that it will. It will end in due time. No one can make depression just up and leave. It takes time, but you can make it last longer than it has to by holding on.



I think that NFK still loves you, it's just that she's young. I think that it would do you well to capture that truth, if you catch my meaning. Love will come in due time. Would come sooner if society was functioning properly and in a healthier way. But now most people don't get a spouse till they're 30. :/


Real love takes a lot of time, and wisdom. Remember that and you future is bright, and it always will be. Don't shut your friend out either, maybe if you start talking to her again, things will heal faster- if you have the right mindset. Do not forget to be strong and wise like the man that you would want your wife to have someday.


Just don't hold on more. . . than you have to.

look, this is the 9th goshdarn time i've seen someone try and suicide on the site, and that's just me... and all because your over-reacting. if i had a girlfriend who didn't feel comfortable with being my gf i'd accept it if we could still be friends. kimmy was your friend for a long time, and just because you cant marry each other you officially hate her? kimmy made like 3 posts apologizing and you've only been an ass to her. if you can't just get a grip, then i guess theres no hope for you two anyways. at the very least if you wont let her open up then fine, at least accept how many other people you can be with. and seriously, you shouldnt take your anger out on the site anyways. try taking some time off, get back in touch with life. well that there is as serious as i will ever want to be, just please listen to SOMEONE about this problem

Like a sailor in a storm at night you wait it out. It is ofcource a huge crisis that needs all hands on deck but eventually you go back to smooth sailing even if every second seems like an hour. At worst you come out of it more experienced if nothing else.
