Mainly, post memories from your gaming experiences.
I remember the first time I saw a Gamecube. It was the Pre-K years and someone brought that in, and they had Paper Mario, Animal Crossing, and Sonic's Mega Collection.
What do you remember?

I remember when I bought Yu-Gi-Oh Forbidden Memories for the PS1 from a gift shop. My parents did not want to pay so much for it, and thought I would get bored easily, but I did not, that was one for the best PS1 games I ever played and first getting it from the shop was such a great memory.

I remember one time I went to my best friends house for his birthday, and we played Worms:3D and messed around. We made the smallest piece of land possible in the map editor, started the match, threw a holy grenade, and blew up the entire piece of land so we kept spawning and then falling into an abyss.

I remember when I got my first video game; Pokemon Gold. I would not turn it off because I always had to start all over if I did... That is, until my dad taught me how to use the save feature of the game. XD

When I got Final Fantasy IX I fooled my parents that I have a fewer so I didn't have to go to school and played it non-stop the whole week.

Plenty of memories with the Gamecube, the first game I got was Super Smash Bros Melee, I played it for hours, the Gamecube was my first home console, I got it when I was ten, so it wasn't too long ago, but still, I love the Gamecube, Melee, Windwaker, Metroid, so many good games.

This one is going to sound stupid.
I was 10 years old and Sega genesis and Sonic just came out.  My parents bought them for me for Christmas and remember my friends and I playing the game a lot.  The game actually got us outside and exercising hardcore for about 6 months.  We figured if we ran as hard as we could everyday we would get as fast as sonic and be the best runners ever.
That is one of my fondest memories of video games I have.  The exercise, time with friends doing the same thing, Christmas games, and everything.
P.S. We never got as fast as Sonic, I think he tops out at over 600 M.p.h. as I only top out at 172 M.p.h.

My first game was a Barney Video Game... I can't quite remember what it was, but I know it was a Barney game. Then, I got a Wii, and started playing on that 24/7. I have so many memories on the Wii. After that I got an Xbox,  then we got to now, and I have switched to PC.

I'm an old gamer. So I have had a lot of really great moments over the years. But I will share the one that is most memorable...

It was 1982. I was 10 years old at the time. My mother would always do the grocery shopping on Fridays. The grocery had a Donkey Kong machine. I remember how exciting it looked. Watching all these kids surrounding the machine that was making wonderful noises. Seeing them cheer, and having fun. We didn't have a lot of money at the time, but my mother always gave me 2 dollars in quarters to spend on the Donkey Kong machine. This was the beginning of a love affair with video games that has lasted my entire life.

Donkey Kong was a difficult game. Maybe not on the first stage. But it absolutely was a quarter eater. All I had was 8 quarters a week to play. So... I had to get better so it would last longer. Before I knew it I was dropping 1 quarter in, and playing the entire time mom was shopping. Giving me the opportunity to go to the store and play it on other days too. I became a master at that game, and top scorer. It was also around this time that I asked for an Atari console. My first console of many to come.

So playing Donkey Kong was the catalyst  that fed my obsession with video games. Making it my most memorable memory in gaming.

Oh boy, do I have a lot of memories. I remember the very first time I picked up a controller/game boy. I don't know how old I was at the time, but I remember going to my uncle's house during the Summer. They had an SNES plugged in. I remembered playing Super Mario All Stars until the cartridge overheated. I don't know how, might be gamers intuition, but somehow I knew how to play a Mario game without going "how do you jump?" or "How do you move?".Then I played their Pokémon Red, and in a nutshell, my kid-brain just exploded with the awesomeness of Pokémon itself. And the rest is history.

I remember when I first did a Toasty Incineration fatality in Mortal Kombat 2. It was hilarious and I played as Scorpion and always did that fatality ever since.

I also remember the first time beating Final Fantasy 7, which is my favorite video game of all time.

I remember when I was a kid and got..the Nintendo 64. I treasured that thing. It was back when I just played F-Zero X, Mortal Kombat 4, Super Mario 64, Mario Kart 64, Mario Party, Wave Race, Goldeneye 007, and much more classic Nintendo 64 titles

Mega Mewtwo X :
Ahahaha, that's what I always, ALWAYS do when I get a new PS2 game, but that habit became even worse when I got a PSP and I was like...I was literally controlled by it, ahhhh crazy times.

Back to the topic, My classic gaming memories must be with crash 1-3 in PS1, I remember my sister, brother, and even my mom playing that game....and yes.....all I remember from them was the huge pile of complaints about how were the the 1st and the 2nd one.....but nonetheless they liked playing them over and over again.

Also, I remember playing spyro 1 as an 7 year-old kid and man these thieves are annoying (and that's why my mom never played it again)....but I remember there was one thief that almost made me rage the hell out of this game, and his pattern were ridiculous, he jumps from one tower to another AND the developer expect you to follow him, and if I remember you need to at least to jump around 15 times to catch him and if you mess up in one jump, you have to restart all over (and lose a life). Also, I remember being scared like hell from Bush-like monsters in later levels where they swallows you whole and munch on you then spit you back, I used to do everything to get prevent that from happening.

And my mom used to tell that when she was playing spyro 2, she had a habit of moving the controller up when she jumped in the game so while I walking to her and sitting near her AND LEANED MY HEAD ABOVE THE CONTROLLER, my mom jumped in the game so she accidentally smacked the controller right at my face!

What can I say.....good old days.

I remember learning about Pokemon and the Game Boy Advance. My friend had one, and he would play Pokemon Emerald all the time. That inspired me to remake the game in paper form. Stupid, I know, but I played the fake version relentlessly until my parents actually got me a GBA. A year later I got a PS2, and I continued my gaming from there.

I remember playing Aladdin, Pinocchio and Sonic the Hedgehog 2 on my Genesis back when I was pre school good times... I also remember playing Pokemon Colosseum to such an extent that it broke after a while... That was a sad sad day for little me.
