You know, we all have experienced something in a video game that makes your experiences with the game pretty bad making horrible moments in a time of your life when you wish that it hadn't happened. Considerably the game makes you so angered that you wish that it would never happen again or you just get angry at the game. Anybody got moments like that?

This thread pretty much defines Dark Souls for me. To start off with, I'm not very good at Dark Souls; I really can't play games with slow characters, I just can't. To make matters worse, Dark Souls is not a speedy game, so you have to move really slowly and dodge everything with perfect accuracy otherwise you will be slaughtered. Shielding is virtually useless, so it isn't even worth doing, but even when you do try to shield yourself (this is probably just me) the reaction time is too slow and you get slaughtered. Many times I have been killed in Dark Souls because I was simply not able to dodge or block in time. There are also times where there are wonky controls, and the game decides to not read my actions. There are times where the game decides that I cannot walk forward on a flat surface (extremely annoying). There are also times where I am simply knocked off the edge and fall to my death. Dark Souls may be frustrating and provide me with great anger and poor experiences, but overall, I would still say it's a good game.

^--- Agh, but I love Dark Souls!!  Your guy can be pretty speedy if you up the right stats, but it does take awhile to master the in's and out's of the game, it's harder to do now for new players cause veterans like to pick on them with invasions.

Anyway, my personal regret was probably the entirety of the Dead Island series, both games I had a set level of expectations and they didn't quite meet any of them, the only way the games were playable in my opinion was if you had a few friends to tag along with, then it wasn't a snooze fest. (Again, my opinion.)

My worst experience is 100% my fault. A few years ago, I got Pokemon Emerald as a transfer tool for Diamond and Pearl. There was a save file with all 8 badges and I deleted it. Why is this such a bad thing? It probably had Rayquaza, Groudon, and Kyogre. To this day I haven't acquired any of them.

Oh lol, mine would have to be on F-zero on the GBA, cant remember which one though (may look it up some time) but I had almost gotten all platinum trophies and I decided to let my little sister play my GBA (Big @ss mistake) she ended up not only clearing my F-zero game, but also messing up some of my other games and RPGs. ooh I was so mad, you should be wary wary wary a relative with a mischevious mind.

Meekymilly : Ugh, I hate when in general you have gotten all that progress done and then you lose it but mostly it happens to me when something says you got a corrupt save file and you basically don't even know how it got started or even at all know what you did to cause it.

All of Postal 2: AW is my worst video game experience.

It was so boring, which is weird since the original Postal 2 was so fun.
