Any franchise, any gun. Shoot. Get it? Shoot? No? Ok...
My favorite gun is probably the MP7 or SCAR-L. During my time playing a bunch of modern war games, I've found these two guns to be reliable in combat. A close third would have to be a Remington shotgun, because if there is anything that Black Ops 2 and Battlefield 3 have proven, it is that Remington makes monstrously OP shotguns.
So, what's your favorite gun? (The portal gun, gravity gun, etc. DO COUNT.)

But in modern first-person shooters, the SPAS-12 (or in Combat Arms speak: DA GAWLDEN SHAWTGUN OH LAWDY LAWDY LO) is a reliable tool for putting holes in heads. Several of them simultaneously.

The only firearm that I actually do good with in war games would be the rocket launcher, or something similar. If it comes to just a regular gun, I usually do terrible with it and it gets really hard for me to get the hang of it. The rocket launcher on the other hand is easy to use and deadly.

My favourite will always be anything close to an automatic shotgun. There is nothing better than racing through herds of baddies with your finger on "fire", watching them all fall to the floor. Can't beat it.

It's a tough one between "The Original" and the "Sticky Grenade Launcher" both from team fortress 2.

The original is a remake of the rocket launcher in the quake mod, Team Fortress. It goes back to the days when the gun was positioned like it was coming out of your stomach and the sound of it is so satisfing!

I love the sticky bomb launcher. Ever since I traded my Strange Force-A-Nature for one (he also gave me 6 vintages). It's fun to use, you can play traps for enemy players and of course you can sticky jump.

My favorite gun is the UMP45 from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. It was a very fast and very quick to kill people with, which with a bad FPS gamer, that is a good thing to me.

My favorite gun is the mini-gun that was augmented onto Ryuji Goda's arm in Yakuza: Dead Souls. The gun is freaking amazing, and is capable of quickly dispatching many zombies at once. It is also really nice if you want to fend off larger zombies. It is definitely cooler looking than the regular mini-guns too. I mean, it pretty much does replace Goda's arm.
