Okay so I've notice that every once in awhile someone will rate a post of mine and since I tend to read more posts than I make I would also like to rate the posts I like.  At first I thought you had to be trusted or something but then i noticed a couple of regular members were rating my posts and so I can see no reason as to why I can't do it as well.  I've looked all over the thread each individual post and I can see where is says posts rated but I can't click on it or anything.  So how do I rate a post.

Also of note is that some post settings will hide the like and dislike options. I recently discovered this myself, as I had mine set to "RPG", and the links didn't appear. If those links aren't there for you, go to your settings (link at the top left of the screen "Edit profile and settings") and change your "Thread Layout" setting (at the bottom of the screen) to "Regular".

Eirinn :  Yep it must be something like or maybe exactly that.  I use the RPG setting and I don't have those like dislike options that the other posts shows thanks for the help guys.

Yeah I had this same problem and I had mine set to RPG as well, and I didn't have that option and I had no clue what was up, but then I toggled with the other options and found that the regular one works. And you can rate up to 4 posts a day if I am not mistaken, so be sure not to abuse the privilege by rating either too many a day, or by purposely rating them up for a buddy because they asked you to. If that is the case, then all you have to do is switch your thread layout. Hopefully this helped.

Yea it was driving me crazy,  I was like how hard can this be to figure out and then it turns out to be something weird like that so at least I don't feel like a total idjit.  And as Eirinn knows (cuz I liked his post cuz it gave me my answer) that I can now like or dislike posts.  Thanks again everybody for helping me with this.
