I was super sad for this competition. I had the video, and was trying to upload it. But I fell asleep and didn't realize I forgot to plug my laptop in, so it died. This would have been my submission, which would have gotten me first place by a nice amount.

Congrats winners! This game makes a pretty sweet speedrun. NintendoFan0513 you would have been right there if you had taken the shortcut in 7-2. I thought madison's run was ridiculous, that's pretty insane rcarter2! I see both of you take advantage of toad’s speed but he actually runs faster when carrying stuff?

jerryaberry : He only speeds up when carrying enemies. If you are carrying blocks, vegetables, door potion, or the key, his speed is the same. But for some reason, enemies make him go faster, and he is the only character that this happens with.

Needless to say, level 6-2 was the one giving me the most trouble to master. Everything has to be done just right in order to make the correct Beezos and Albatross (birds) appear in the right place at the right time. Took a LOT of trial and error.

Hmm, well that stinks, rcarter. I had a feeling you had something cooking when you took down your older run, so it was kinda strange when the contest was over and you didn't have anything. I did a similar thing with the Christmas game playthroughs contest in December. I waited until the end of the month to upload my stuff, but then the holidays got in the way and I didn't have the time to upload any of em.

Davideo7 : Yeah. It is a risk that I take with these competitions, but I'm alright with taking it. But after the Ducktales competition, I prefer to wait to the last day to upload the video. On Ducktales, I had to upload the speed run a couple days early. I used a little glitch that made it impossible to beat my time without using it. Nobody seemed to realize this trick existed. Literally the day after I uploaded the video, 3 people who already had submissions made new submissions beating my time using that trick I used. So I don't want others to copy any strategy I use. In this particular case, level 6-2.
