Not which do you play more, but which is your favorite. I play creative the most as a server op, but I don't enjoy it as much as the other two.

My favorite mode is survival, since it makes minecraft more than an architectural game but a virtual simulation of living out in the wilderness. I remember the first time I played survival and I spent half the night digging out a small house and learning how to craft.

My second would be adventure, since I've played amazing maps that have gotten me really intrigued. There's just so many bad ones too, which is why I put this as second. For every 10 that I try, only 1 really amazes me.

What about you, which is your favorite minecraft mode to play?

I would go with creative first because I can do whatever I want.
I will put on survival second because it can be kind of fun.
And adventure with the third spot because I rarely have time to do it.

I am going to try to make 'lots of Adventure Maps. :]
I will use Too Many Items or Not Enough Items :p
Also Cheats will be disabled, and you can go to Adventure mode only (You start in Adventure anyway) and when you have finished the WHOLE map, at the end there will be a command Block to go to Survival and Adventure, and a Teleport Command Block to teleport to the beginning, Must be in Survival Mode. Then break two block and then you can Easily Teleport back to the end, and sometimes You can go and have Survival Kit at the end. This way, there is some more challenges only in Survival Mode that is unlocked after the Adventure mode and you can like, go out of the Glass Sphere!
But the Objective: Find a Secret Place.. It will be close to the Adventure Mode place, or sometimes in Adventure Mode you'll See "Sponge blocks".
However, to find the Secret Place, you must really go to an longer, harder, adventure, and you need to search trough the whole area sometimes to find only one Exit..

Creative is first for me because I hate it when I am trying to build something and I randomly get attacked. It's much less stressful for me and I am allowed to let my creativity run.

EideticMemory : it has to be survival because it's the one i play most ans is the most fun. when you first play because you are so confused how to play. crafting and trying not to die from spiders and zombies

My favorite minecraft mode to play is survival mode. It's the one I have played the most and the one I find the most fun to play. It's challenging, yet easy if you know how to. No matter how you look at it, in my opinion, survival will always be the best vanilla minecraft mode.

My second favorite would be creative mode, since I love being able to build anything you want with unlimited resources. You can build and create such amazing and wonderful buildings, contraptions, traps, re-creations, pixel art, anything you want!

I like Survival more than Creative because I actually feel that my buildings are worth something in Survival and Creative can get boring eventually. But we don't have Adventure mode on Xbox yet.

On Creative I am free to express my feelings in...blocks...but on Survival, I am limited to most things. I have never tried Adventure, do I don't know how it plays out.

For right now, I like playing in the Survival mode because that is the game mode that everyone is familiar with, I do sometile like creative mode as well, but at some extent though, and I haven't really tried Adventure mode because it's really similar to survival mode with blocks will break by a certain tool.

Plus also a 4th game mode is being planned out for 1.8 which happens to be Spectator mode, I have tried that out and it is pretty fun when you're looking for some great caves to explore and see from a mob's point of view.

I've made a point of playing through Survival, and of building a large castle in Survival, mostly just to say that I had done it.  But most of the time that I play, its in Creative so that I can simply build.  If I'm going to be honest with myself, I love Minecraft for the same reason that I love LEGOs, I enjoy creating things.

      Survival and Creative because I never play single player. I always play multilayer. And depending witch server the mode is different.
