At one point during my winter break I slept over 16 hours in one night. I fell asleep at 6 pm the night before and woke up at noon the next day. I was sleep deprived and I had hangover type symptoms when I finally woke up. What about you? What's the longest time you've slept at once?

EideticMemory : hmm.. Well when me and my family came back from Britain we had majorly bad Jetlag so we slept for 28 hours! Under normal circumstances I think the longest was 13 hours on the day after my b-day, I couldn't be bothered doing anything so i told them I was having a really long lie in. And I did !!

I would have to say the most I have slept is between 15-18 hours but this is because I used to stay up 30-45 hours at a time without being able to sleep and eventually my body just fell asleep but it took long enough. I don't have as bad of problems as I used to with it but some times I stay up at weird hours and get no sleep. I woke up at 9:30 last night and have been up every sense.. I am pretty tired right now but I have to wait a couple of more hours before I can actually go to bed.

I stay up pretty late sometimes, not extremely late, but I do tend to stay up and I fall asleep late at about 1 or 2 and because of this, my body clock is off and it takes about 9 or 1- hours meaning I wake up at 12 or 1 to be fully recharged. I think the longest I have slept was 17 hours or something like that. I had been working on a stupid project late at night for the past week and got horrible sleep so when Friday came around , I just crashed for almost an entire day XD. So about 17 hours give or take, is my longest time sleeping at one given time. Good question by the way.

The other Friday I slept from roughly 10pm until 1pm the next day. So that is 13 hours sleep and to my standard of roughly 6 or 7 that is ages.
It was to do with me being extremely tired from school and getting up at 7am everyday and the nights were spent staying up on my 3DS on the Youtube app catching up on Gamegrump episodes. I would be awake until midnight most nights and according to some that is not healthy.

I slept for 14 hours before literally. I guess that's pretty bad because I woke up in like 3 in the afternoon. I was late for a Basketball game I had to attend which was at noon. I stayed up until 1 in the morning so it was reasonable. But there's no way someone could sleep 14 hours.

The longest I've slept was when I had a fever, I felt very dizzy, sleepy, and overheated so after drinking water, I went to sleep at 7:30 PM, and Had woken up the next day at around 10:30 AM ( during the weekend off of school )

Regardless, I had one of those long summer days, and upon reaching home, I flat-out collapsed on my bed. I woke up the next day, 13 or 14 hours later. I had time to sleep soundly thanks to me being in a cottage close to the fresh seaside air. That always puts me out at early hours, especially after long days at the beach.

The longest amount of time that I've slept one time was 20 hours. I recall myself being sick during that time with a migraine and all I did was sleep. Sleep does help with the immune system and that's why it is my best friend.
