I am pretty sure a thread like this already exists, but I would say about 1 time each month, maybe 2 at most I might go out to the move theaters to watch a movie. We only go if the movie is really something that catches our interest and really want to see, that is why it is so rarely that we go because most of the movies already in theaters aren't really that good and I don't find them to be interesting. I agree that they are expensive and they are about 45 dollars for me, and they can reach even more if they are stupid 3d movies which I try to avoid going to because they charge an arm and a leg for the dumb glasses. 

So that is why I go to the movies so rarely. I enjoy it whenever I am going to see a movie I really like though.

... Until I went to see Wreck-it Ralph in November of 2012? ... the last movie I saw in the theater prior to that was Jurassic Park 3. That shows how often I go. XD Though I did go to see Jurassic Park when they re-released it in 3D, being as JP is my favourite movie, but when it was first released in the theaters I was too young to go see it. I... literally shed some tears when I first saw the Brachiosaur on the big screen. So beautiful!

U think the next time I actually know I'm going to the theater is for Star Wars, Batman Superman Movie or The Avengers 2. Other than that I haven't heard of any huge movies coming out. So the answer to your question I rarely ever go.

I only ever go if there is a huge blockbuster movie on. Cinemas have huge prices, right? Some movies you are just better off waiting at home for it to come out on DVD. There is usually about two blockbusters a year here.

While I know that I can access blockbuster movies on my computer no problem, I just don't get the same feel as when I watch them in theater. It's just such a different environment.

To be honest, the last time I went to a movie theater was like in 2008, and haven't gone to one since then. I really don't like it, too many people and you can't control the volume at all...
