I don't actually completely hat 3rd gen cards as much as I hate the new xyz cards. I will only use them to keep up with the other players who still use them at locals. I'll give the cards one thing, I like how they are not just focusing on raw attack now but also spells and effects. But their problem is they make it to powerful.

I think they're meant to spur sales only at this point. It's no longer about the game itself. I'm not giving into that and buying them just for their stronger spells. 

If I play someone, there's no way I'm using real cards. I'll just face them on Dueling Network.
