When was the first time you've said a curse word? We all must have said or accidentally said them. Why not share your moments? I was five years old and I kept hearing people say the F word. I didn't think it was bad. It sounded cool to me, so I decided to try it out.

My mother and I were at the movie theater, and there was a gargantuan line to obtain refreshments. I said, "I can't believe we have to wait for this &%$*ing line!" Then, my mother said, "Did you just say the F word?" Then I found out it was bad and lied that I had said 'bucking.'

Yeahhhh....don't ask.

I remember the first time I used a curse word, I really don't remember the first time I said it (because I say so many of them in my whole life), but I do remember what I said, if I remember, I said "Son of a B***h", and then my mother looked at me funny, I didn't know it was at the time.

I remember when I was 5 years old, I had a very eccentric friend named Keith, who apparently had an early and avid obsession with the show "Trailer Park Boys", a show that I only recently come to enjoy.

One day, he gave the name "the s***mobile" to the place we hung out at school because of it's beaten down apprearance. I started calling it that too.

Also, my mom played nothing but Eminem in the car when I was growing up, and there's some foul stuff in there.

I do not swear around my family, but I speak quite cussively when around my friends.

I also have said "damn" and "hell" my entire life freely, as they are not really swears in my view.

I make a habit not to curse, although when I get really comfortable with someone online, I'm ashamed to say I slip and resort to it at times of frustration.  It's not something I'm proud of and definitely something I avoid.. but it tends to happen when I slip away from God.

I think I've maybe said a curse word three times out loud in my entire life though, including the word 'crap', though I know most won't agree with that, and I'm undecided on how I feel about the word, myself.  The first time I said a word, I'll never forget.  I was on the round jungle gym, playing by myself, and I dropped my brand new jacket on the dirt below me.  For a reason I'll never understand, I uttered the 'sh' word as though this small event had some consequence.  The minute it slipped out of my mouth, I was a bit shocked. lol  I really wouldn't be able to tell you the other times I've cursed, unless I was cursing myself.

I haven't cussed in a long while... I used to cuss a bunch but I have incorporated positivity in my like and I'm doing a lot better. I never usually say anything anymore period.. I have family members who still have problems with it but I'm hoping I stay clean of it.

The first time I cursed was.... when I was trying to learn how to talk, which was around 4-6 years. Since adults around me were swearing, I swore too. I even did it in Kindergarten during in school speech therapy, which resulted in my teacher telling me what bad words were and I should not say them.

First time I cursed...Well, it was during a car ride when I was 10. I had this weird cracked patch of skin on my hand for a few months. And since I heard it a lot I said "it really p***es me off". My dad laughed, and told me not to say it anymore. I rarely curse anymore. Just when I'm extremely angry, or sad.

Yeah.... The first time I cursed, I must have been 6 years old or so, and I used to curse a lot really, especcially at video games. But since then, I have not really been cursing much, maybe once or twice a month.

I think is when I'm 10. I was a good kid but I'm troubled. A friend won't give the stuff I want and then he break it. I started cursing him off. My friend got in trouble but I didn't.

I don't really remember when I first cursed, but I think it was when I was about 13 or 14. I only ever said a curse word in front of my mom once, and it hasn't happened since then. One day the ad for Nutella was on and my mom jokingly calls it "s**t on a shingle", and I suddenly blurt out "more like s**t on toast". I quickly changed the subject to something else so she'd forget about it, and I think it worked because she hasn't mentioned it since. I'll bet if I asked her about it she wouldn't even remember that day. Nowadays, I only curse when she's not around and even then I don't do it all the time.

When I was small child. I cant remember how old (maybe five), my mom was reaching something heavy from a cupboard and whatever that thing was, it fell on her toes and she would scream:

"PERKELE!"

(see, since it is in a foreign language, it does not mean anything to you so it doesn't get "bleeped". It is gibberish to you so the word in it self has no power.)

So next time I hurt myself a bit I would scream out the same thing. Mom goes:

"What did you say?!?"

"Well you said the same thing when you hurt your toe."

"Never mind wait I did or said! You never say that word again!"

So this is how we learned there are things grownups say but don't want mentioned. And whatever those words mean they must be awesome, cool, grown-up, sophisticated and so on and on. And would repeat them all the time we could if we knew we could away with it... and they say, some never stopped.

I've probably said some words at an early age without knowing their meaning, but I don't recall actually understanding the meanings until third or fourth grade. I say a cuss word once in a while. It's not something I regulate or take notice of. It just happens when it happens.

I just feel it so silly that there are such things as cuss words. It's like Harry Potter's "he-who-shall-not-be-named". I feel like these words were invented just as slang for those who think their cool for saying them.

I think it was in 6th grade a kid taught all of us kids how to swear we all thought it was cool.  Then a teacher sat us all down and taught us not to use those words, but we could use other words that would be funny to use.

I still use those funny words and I pass it down to the kids I take care of.

I have been swearing since I was about 4 or 5. The kids in the higher years at school were shouting swear words at us and from that it sinked into our minds. Me and my friends thought they were funny so we would shout them out at break time (recesses or whatever you call it) while giggling only to then be tutored by a near by member of staff that these words were inappropriate.

I was like 3 when I started saying "dammit" all the time. Running around at the speed of sound, got places to go, gonna call you an a-hole!

The earliest time I remember swearing is when I was 6-7 years old. I was watching my big brother play Tomb Raider on the PC and I got bored so I starting to say words that rhymed with witch for some reason. When I ran out I started to make up words by changing the first letter. You probably already knew from the word witch what word it is but I said it and my brother told me it was a bad word. I didn't believe him and repeated it for the next half minute. He said something to me and I stopped.

Oh! This thread is the best! This takes me way back!
I've just turned 6, I was on NewGrounds. Let's just say, that I was on the wrong side of the Internet. I was searching up Mario movies. This is the part where my innocence went downhill.
I found the perfect movie to watch. Then I heard Toad saying, "s***!". I've laughed so hard, then I started saying the word to Hell! My siblings started pick up the word too.
Another time was when I was at the YMCA. I was so bored, I started trying to spell words. I was trying to spell a certain kids shirt, which said "FUBU". When I read the first 2, a random girl started telling on me. I still wondered all these years why she just wouldn't mind her business.

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.

We prioritize the community over the site profits.  This is why we avoid using annoying (but high paying) ads like most other sites which include popups, obnoxious sounds and animations, malware, and other forms of intrusiveness.  We'll do our part to never resort to these types of ads, please do your part by helping support this site by adding Vizzed.com to your ad blocking whitelist.
