As of the TdV starting:

When I leave the site for a few hours, I come back to 20-22 notifications, easily.

And that happens several times a day.

I find myself spending more and more time combing through notifications than searching through threads on the forums. =/

About 15 I guess. Good thing I don't get them usually because I like to enjoy my time here and not to waste my time too much on checking the notifications or private messages, that's why I never even want to be Staff member or higher because then this place would be more like a job to my than a place to relax.

For me, I don't get a lot of notifications i guess because I am new. Part of me hopes i do get a lot, but the other part does not want to get a lot because it would be kind of annoying to go through all of them .

The most notifications I ever got was 17 I would of had more during my absence if I didn't disable my profile chat box I would have gotten a lot more over time.

As soon as the TdV slowed down my notifications dropped dramatically. I also cleared out most of my favorites, which had something to do with that. Now I rarely hit double digits when I'm off for a few hours. I still hit ~40 notifications a day, but it feels like so little.

I hope that I will get at least 20 notifications today when I finally take a break off for church! I would enjoy getting those so I have something to do. I like notifications when it is something that is worth while,and not some stupid spam.
