You know we all have those papers that make us laugh. Post pictures and share stories here, but keep students anonymous, please.

This was on a test. Now.... I've had kids come up with all kinds of excuses for not finishing a test.. namely, not having enough time.
But... not having enough room? I have to admit I absolutely laughed at this, this morning. :s

I have two more to share, but I'll have to edit the names out of the pictures when I get home. They're even funnier. lol

Mr. Zed : LOL I'll post it when I get home, which should be in about 90 minutes here. I'll also edit the other two images into this post.

EDIT: Here are the other two papers that made me...just.. burst at the seams about a month and a half ago.  In this assignment, the goal was to copy the triangles EXACTLY, using certain geometry tools. Now obviously, a lot of kids didn't have the tools and were too lazy, so they tried eyeballing it and just drawing a triangle of the same shape and size.  However... these two attempts to fool me just.... were hilarious...

When I lived in Canada, my elementary school had "PJ day" where everyone, even the teachers and principles, dressed up in (modest) PJ's. XD I remember that was fun. I also remember that one of my friends got teased for wearing PJ pants the next day, even though he didn't.

I am not a teacher (obviously), but I came across this funny book, called F In Exams. It's really funny, and shows the (intentional) fails, and some not intentional, but honest mistakes, on tests, quizzes, and such.

I do not know if this is totally 100% 12-and under appropriate, but I haven't gone through it in a long time. But I do guarantee, that most if it, and possibly all of it, is good appropriate humor. But if it does happen to have some inappropriate content, I am sorry.

Here is an online copy that you can read in your browser

Mr. Zed:
I fixed and uploaded the new pictures.

Sidewinder :  I've seen some funny and similar jokes before, but I can only find so much amusement in obviously faked answers. However, some of those more feasible ones made me chuckle. There was one in which students had to explain the difference between H2O, and C2O.  The student answered hot water and cold water.

Now that... that I can see a student doing, so it made me laugh. XD Thanks for sharing, btw.

However, I do want to remind everyone that this thread is mainly for teachers to give real life examples.

When I was in high school, on the day of the final exam for AP Physics, my Science Club adviser played a CD with Drew Carey singing "High Hopes" as the students walked into class.

I taught briefly when I worked for a local air-conditioning manufacturer. Once, my employer sent me to the Winnebago factory in Iowa to teach factory technicians better ways to troubleshoot the Coleman RV air-conditioner.

I was explaining to them where to check for different voltages by indicating different colored wires. After several minutes of this, one of the "class clowns" made a comment about the way I was pronouncing "wire" with an accent.

I said "Imagine that, someone from I-O-Way making fun of my accent!" No one seemed insulted, which was fortunate I guess.

I was sitting here grading (sorry for being so overwhelmed right now, vizzed ), when I had to pause and share this.

I wonder if anyone knows why this had my husband and I cracking up?

Love you guys, and God bless!
