For me, I guess age restrictions for stuff..Like ' You have to be under 12 to go on this ride / thing ' Also age restrictions like ' You must be 12 or older to go on this website ' Makes me feel like I'm getting older.. Also watching Harry Potter for some reason makes me feel oddly old

I am only seventeen, but that has not stopped me from feeling at least somewhat old. I remember back when I was younger playing with a bunch of toys or building blocks, and now it seems as if every little kid has a cell phone or even a tablet to play on at their leisure. It is astounding how much has changed in the last ten years, and it makes me feel old, despite being rather young.

What makes me feel old is when I start saying that music now is crap and it was better before. Or when I play my Gameboy Advanced. Another thing that makes me feel old is watching old anime from 2006 which doesn't seem that long ago but when you think about it, it was 8 whole years ago. Another thing that makes me feel old is the abundant of 11 year olds and pre-teens that grow on this site. The fact that I see younger and younger people here make me feel old.

Lol, when I make a reference that nobody around me gets except for the old guy in the back.

Or when i'm listening to the Rat Pack and someone asks me what that 'crap' is, then you realize you can't hit them anymore (legally), little rascals.

- Seeing mid-90s Preludes on Craigslist with 250,000 miles going for less than $1000...
- Any time I try to talk to today's kids about a time before YouTube existed
- When my 14-year-old brother comes over to my house and he can't figure out how to work the VCR
- Any time someone mentions Surge or Wonder Balls.
- When kids don't know that the definition of the word "rewind" comes from actually rewinding a VHS tape or audio cassette
- Any time I try to figure out the logic behind hash tags
- Seeing PlayStation 2 games in the bargain bin at Wal-Mart
- Every time I put in a PS3 game that has "online multiplayer for up to 20 people!" but I can't plug in a 2nd controller and play on the same TV as my friend
- The fact that I just wrote "plug in" when talking about PS3 controllers
- Any time I try to explain to people that older games look better on tube TVs
- Any time I try to explain to people why I still own a tube TV from 2000 (see reason above)
- When I check my inbox on my birthday and still see "Happy Birthday" emails from Adventure Quest
- When people look at me funny because I still call them "programs" instead of "apps"
- When scrolling through the listings on the TV and I remember that I used to need a TV Guide magazine to do this
- Remembering that there was once a time that I used WordPerfect instead of Microsoft Word
- Any time I get a text message from someone who still uses a signature

There's dozens more thing I could list but I don't want to bore you guys with my long yarns about the days of old.

Phone booths and old cartoons

I feel old when i get light-headed and nearly collapse in the shower.

I feel old when I talk to my younger cousin. I tried talking to her about cartoons and she barely knew what Loony Toons were. Forget Little Bear or Darkwing Duck. Rescue Rangers? Nope. 

I'll have to work on that with her...

 

For me it has to be that I own an Atari 2600 and Atari 5200 console and used to play the games for them when I was was like 6 years old.

Many ways.
1. Seeing my old school while being driven to my new one. 
2. Being reminded the baby that was born in my church when I was 7 is now entering school.
3. Being reminded I'm in middle school.
4. Remembering I'm 1 year and 4 months away from becoming a teen.

What makes me feel old?

The fact that every minute I'm aging and getting older by the second. Which is good until you hit your 40's...then your really feel old.

The thought that I have been in college for 4 years already and am thinking about a career and buying my own house etc.

I swear that the second I turned 22, I felt like I was 23 already. That may sound stupid, or like no big deal, but its a reference the fact that a year friggen flies by since highschool ended.

Its not really a matter of feeling old for me, its more of a matter that I feel sad when things remind me of times when I was much younger.

The thing that trips me out most though is having a convo with my friend saying "I cant believe that the vancouver olympics are only a year away and I will be in college by then" ... and now, the sochi olympics are over. So trippy. Also, I found out that the grinch who stole christmas movie with jim carey is 10 years old... that sure caught me off guard. Also, sports, like when the colorado rockies made their run to the world series. That was a long time ago and I followed those rockies every step of the way. I still remember that amazing extra winner gets into the playoffs game the rockies were in during that season.

Everything makes me feel old. I don't know how to work those dang cell phones, I just hit on the screen and grunt like a cave man and hope something happens. I don't text nor do I even know how to send a text. I don't know how to work the new video game consoles (when did it become so hard to make a game play? What happened to hitting the power button and the game comes on!". I hate hipster music and all those internet things all the young people are talking about. I am more mature than most people my age. I had to grow up fast, I had my daughter when I was still young. 

The year I was born, Germany was reunified. Seems like so long ago that Germany was reunited under one flag.

Playing old games or seeing people that are younger than me.
