Hello, guys! Do you get bullied a lot? If so, how much, and why? I rarely get bullied, but when I do, it's for playing Pokémon . I hardly ever get bullied, though, because I'm so "unimportant and inferior" in my school that I'm "not worthy of being paid attention to". So, I'm ignored a lot.  It's so lonely and depressing that I would actually rather be made fun of. At least that would mean that my classmates are aware of my existence... So, are you guys bullied? Or are you bullies yourselves? Please be honest, and post your replies!

I've been in that situation, it isn't a good one. I never got physically bullied, but people did say negative things to me, but I learned to say them back and it became more of jokes between us than bullying.

I guess what I'm trying to say is: You have the absolute power to mold your life, and I believe anyone with these issues, or even worse ones can benefit from an open mind, and a good attitude. The simple will to improve your life is enough to get it started. I really hope you find peace in life, but more importantly, within yourselves.

Yeah, I get bullied sometimes, cuz I'm not the 'typical girl'. But that's fine with me.
The girls in my class dislike me as much as I dislike them. I get along with guys way better anyway.

I'm living in the aftermath of being bullied for years....but, in a way I am improving on moving on with it. Instead of letting it take on my life today. Its hard I know but, you just have to be strong about it if you can and to push on greatly from it....

I was never a bully in school I never seen the point in it. But being bullied only happen here and there because I was a "fat" new kid (did alot of moving until high school), but it never lasted long once they relized I was a little out in left feild (and I am still there). And the last time it was attempted was my freshman year and fist gym class a sr tried to shove me in a locker so I kicked in a special place a threw him in it and told him how it was

back when I was in school I was bullied lots and then I went home to an abusive aunt, so I quit school because I was a wimp who couldn't handle it anymore.

Not a lot. Some classmate think I'm gay, BUT I'M STRAIGHT! But I'm always nice to other people and not being a jerk. The reason why I'm respected because I'm Asian.

Thankfully no, but  a lot of bullying goes on in my school and I really hate it, The key is to not make yourself an easy target and that means to stand up for yourself, and also ignore who is bullying you. If they mess with you and if you get upset, then you are giving them what they want and they will only do it more because they know it will bother you.  Unless they hit you, then don't respond, either laugh it off to make them feel stupid, or just walk away and pretend you don't hear them. That is the best thing to do. 

And the idiots that bully you for playing pokemon are the same people that are going to fail school and go to McDonald's for the rest of their life, so I wouldn't even pay attention to them.  I play pokemon, so what? Its a lot of fun. So I am thankful for not being bullied, and I hate those that think its okay to bully others. 

I could write a book on this topic. Maybe I should! I've never been physically bullied (thank goodness for that!) but I've always felt a bit like an amnesiac alien who was kidnapped from her home planet and dropped in the midst of a different species which I can't understand.
Maybe that's my problem. I've always been a little bit too... different for my peers. I'm a bit of an oddball, I guess. I'm a very driven, smart student for one thing, which, while helpful for my future, doesn't win me many friends. And yeah. I guess I'm kind of weird. I've always been into different things, I've always seen things differently, and I've never understood the supposed "rules" to socializing. At first, I just didn't care.
The first time I was bullied was in second grade. It shocked me. I had no idea why this girl was being so mean! She said all of these awful things about me, (most of them I can't even remember.) She made fun of how I ran, she called me weird, people called me stupid, (because however ironic that may have been, how many insults does an average seven-year-old really know?) And after a while, almost nobody would play with me.
Eventually, I broke down in tears in front of everyone, and they stopped following this girl once they'd realized I was human, I guess, and we eventually got her to stop, but ever since, I've been a bit more reserved, and a bit less trusting with every year. I guess it just tore a huge hole in my hope for humanity, already, at the age of seven. And it only got worse.
I've been bullied, teased, targeted, or ignored or all at once by one person or another almost constantly ever since. I guess I'm almost hardened to it now, but that isolated feeling doesn't really go away anymore. I've just gotten shyer, and shyer, and shyer, and now I feel terrified just talking to people, because I always feel like I must be doing something wrong. I can never trust that my friends are my true friends, because they always end up betraying me. I can never feel like a part of my own world. I'm always an outsider.
It's lonely. I guess that's just how it is.
However, some good has come of it all, I suppose. Despite my reluctance to stand up for myself, if I ever see anyone getting bullied, you'd better watch out. I am crazy stubborn when I'm standing up for what I believe in, and I am dedicated to always protecting the underdog now. In the fifth grade, I remember this one girl I barely knew was getting bullied, and I walked right up to her, befriended her, confronted the bullies, helped her take it to the front office people (who of course, were completely incompetent,) and I was her ally for the rest of the year. (Until it was over and she turned on me later, of course. Everyone turns on me. But that's another story.)I am an ally for life. Whenever I see someone sitting alone looking sad, or being bullied, I will be there by their side, because I am done with watching this. I know I can't stop bullying, but I can protect some people. So, in a way, I guess I'm lucky. I suppose I owe a lot of my empathy and compassion to my own bad experiences.
Never give in, you guys, and never give up. We have the power to make a difference, however small.

I myself have never been physically bullied, mostly because I never try to make fun or anger anybody, but I see people in my class being bullied. I am pretty big and strong, and I don't really like fighting, but if it's to help somebody, I would fight. Every time I see somebody being bullied, I always step in if I can. If it's physical bullying or emotional bullying, I always try to help the victim in anyway I can. If the bullies try to do something to me, I know how to defend myself, but I would try to solve the problem with words, instead of hitting or fighting the person.

However, I have been emotionally bullied. I really don't get social interactions that much, and kids have teased me for that. I have been called names, told I am weird, a nerd, alien, freak, etc...
It wasn't until last year that I actually started defending myself, being like "Hey guys, back off" and that made it so they started calming down with the bullying, although I still get bullied. I have a lot of trouble finding friends, and as such I only have about 3 good friends. Everyone else practically ignores me.
I am also openly bisexual, and I get a lot of insults because of that. Most guys don't even get near me for that reason, thinking something along the lines of "Oh, he wants to rape me" or " All he wants is to be around guys to grope them" which means most of my friends are females, which people say makes me even more gay.
I really don't mind them, and I know how it feels to be bullied, being alone, getting picked on. As such I always try my best to help people with this problem.

I've been bullied. It's not fun, but if things get physical, punch them straight in the nose as hard as you can (that'll disorient them) then proceed to beat the s*** out of them. If they hit you or initiated physical contact in some violent way, the fault is theirs

I believe I was never bullied before. I remember there was probably one bully that was close to bullying everyone on my grade many years ago, but soon got expelled before he got me.

I get bullied a little, for some reason. I don't know why, I'm just gonna say it is because those people are a bunch of jerks who need a better choice of entertainment. If they want to use me for entertainment, they should at least pay me. I don't do things like that for free you know.

My brother got punched in the gut by a bully today, also for no reason. Some way, I will punch that kid in the gut and not get in trouble for it. No one messes with my bro, but me.

Well yes I used to get bullied for being the only one in the class not making paper hats and sitting on heater. So I got bullied for actually doing what I was suppose to be doing.

I was bullied tons in school when I was still in school that is. Usually for my weight or the kids in my class would decide that I am there little pet that they can push around and pick and poke at. Now you try to bully me and see what happens. I have matured alot and I do not put up with anything.

I've been bullied in 4 square. This one six grader (I'm 4th grader) told my friend (also in sixth grade) to get me out on purpose. After I got out, I got sad and he said "Your crying?". He than closed his mouth and tried not to laugh as I got upset. I later sat on a rock and waited for outdoor break to end.

Not really two incidents in high school but really since I took care of that myself it was ok. People generally are nice to me so it''s all good

I was bullied in middle school but in high school I'm mean to those who are mean to me and nice to those who are nice to me. At our school we have the hottest girls list and I'm on it -.- But these girls say that every guy wants to get in my pants but I just am mean back and then they leave me alone and I'm gonna be prom queen so that's.. Alright...  SO no but I stand up for those who do get bullied and suprizingly in my school being Bi/Gay is the thing to do... People lie about it..
