So guys I was wondering why the remake of the legend of zelda Majora's Mask remake for the wii u has been cancled? they replaced with the wind waker HD. wind waker HD is not bad but i wonder why nintendo cancled the remake of majora's mask? Post you're reply ^.^!

It was never going to happen in the first place. There was a very convincing trailer though but unfortunately it was all a big hoax. They did consider it at one point when fans were constantly bothering Nintendo over twitter to do so. Nintendo said they had been planning on which game to remake and it came to the conclusion that it would be Wind Waker for the Gamecube. 
Some fans were satisfied and others were certainly not so Nintendo had to tell them that they were going to make at least one other new zelda game for the Wii U and 3DS if they were ever going to remake a game. I can see where they are coming from because the Zelda series is still going on and the developers really do not want to make another remake after just doing so for Ocarina of Time and Wind Waker. Fans really need to calm down because there is still a high chance of this happening but most likely for the 3DS because the other N64 game, Ocarina of Time, was remade on that console so it would be only logic to do it again.
