What's your favorite sport? My favorite is basketball, with football in second.

So fart, soccer leads with 9 and basketball trails by one point.

megamanmaniac : I'm with you on this one.  Basketball is the most intense of all the sports I've played.  I gotta put football (American) at number 2.

I personally like Basketball. It isn't that rough as Football, but it is good. I like how the game works and you don't get slammed into the ground at least.

Soccer (European Football) is my second favorite. I play this game everyday after school. But what I hate is when the same person keeps kicking me in the private spot SO many times and it is frustrating. I could say Soccer and Basketball are tied, but I really like Basketball better although.

My favorite sport is baseball because I find it more interesting than other sports and there isn't anything I don't like about it, unlike the other sports I know about.

I must say, American football is indeed my favorite sport. Sure, there are like one or two plays every three or so minutes (lol), but I find it intense sometimes, especially when you are playing AND if it's a close game (which is the same for every sport actually...close game = excitement).
I like both pro and collegiate.

I do like basketball, so it's a second for me. It's getting a little more interesting now...not the same "good" teams and same "bad" teams anymore...or rather, there are some improvements and such. But it's still pretty early in the season to predict the "good", the "bad", and the "ugly".

Soccer is definitely going to be on my list. I play soccer, and I sure do enjoy it. 

I don't really have a fourth, or fifth, etc...baseball isn't entertaining as much as Football or Basketball or Soccer.

Lacrosse is pretty popular in my town...a LOT of peeps play it. I am really bad at it, so I am definitely not good at lax. 

Swimming would probably be the closest to fourth on my list, but I don't get to watch it or participate much...I used to swim, but not anymore. 

My favorite sport to watch is definitely hockey. The level of skill required to play at that level simply blows my mind. I'm not a very athletic person, but I do enjoy watching a lot of sports, and of those, hockey keeps me entertained for the whole game.

I also enjoy watching soccer and volleyball. For sports like basketball, baseball, and football (American), I either need to actually be there or the game has to be playoff level, otherwise I tend to get bored.

This one is pretty easy for me.

My favorite sport to watch, as well as my favorite sport on a conceptual level, is definitely baseball. It is the perfect sport, because it just feels natural. There's no encouraged physical violence (football/hockey) and the sport is among the most diverse in the world (sorry basketball). Not to mention the amount of skill that goes into the barest level of the game. Hitting a baseball exceeding 90mph+ is not easy. I can play almost any other sport at a decent level, not pro obviously, but enough that if I play a pickup game with random jack offs, I'm almost guaranteed to be one of the more athletic there.

Baseball is the only sport where I cannot say with any confidence I'd be the best player in a given lot of random people. And I've tried, have I ever.

But my favorite sport to participate in, is Cross Country. Anyone can do it sure, but it's a lot more physically demanding at the elite levels. Only sport in the world where competitors seem to look out for one another. I love the camaraderie.

My favorite sport is football. Its a great game and you can hit people in a certain way and not get in trouble for it

My personal favourite sport is Volleyball. I don't need to be a super fast runner, like in Basketball, but my height can still be put to use as a blocker. Plus, once you get used to the ball hitting your arms, I enjoy the sport a lot.

Hockey and Soccer are my favorite sports to watch. I watch football and basketball on occasion too. Haha, there was so much going on after that Alabama v Auburn game, had friends who were so happy and others who were crushed. 

My favourite sport at one time was Soccer but now it has changed to Wrestling. I just lost touch with Soccer but I can't lose touch with wrestling.

It's basketball, because it's the easiest one for me . I am good at dribbling after all, and I don't favor anything too violent like hockey or football. I'll admit, though, soccer is fun.

That is really simple, not soccer. Really, I HATE soccer. But my favorite sport would have to be Football. I LOVE football. I watch, I play, I play on Madden, I will do anything football as it all interests me. I play fantasy football and all that.

My favourite sport would have to be a toss up between baseball and soccer. Baseball because it's not as aggressive as most other sports and it's simple and fun to watch.

Soccer because I've been playing it and watching it since I was a kid. Since I was born in England it's kind of like football to Americans for me. So I'll say Soccer on this one but baseball is definitely a close second.

My guess is Motor sports do not count otherwise it would be Formula 1. But however my favorite physical sport is Rugby Union but I do like the fast pace of Basketball and enjoy a wide variety of sports
