Add your favorites My first favorite is Pikachu, but as I grew and time goes on, I grew more and more fond of Charizard. I also have other favorites. What's your favorite? Hope you enjoy this poll.  

Regarding only Pokemon on the list, I am pretty sure Charizard will be a heavy favorite. He certainly is one of my favorites.

However, since you do have Charizard, it would be fair to have Blastoise and Venesaur on the list as well.

I said Growlithe as well, because I used to think Arcanine was a legendary back when I first played FireRed. He looked so bold, like a leader. A Pokemon leader (lol).

I also said Pidgeotto because he was just a standard for me. I don't really catch Pidgey's anymore, but back then, he was like a standard Pokemon. I used to watch the anime (back in the days when I didn't think Ash was a useless trainer with extreme luck), and I think Ash had a Pidgeot. However, it didn't really appear in many episodes...kinda had the lone ranger type of feel to him/her (I forgot the gender).

Being young, I looked at Meowth as a villain, like a normal person would do. Now, I really don't see Meowth as a bad guy...I kinda root him on (since I despise Ash). But again, thinking of him as a villain back then, I disliked Meowth and Team Rocket, especially their weird entrances. I do have to say though, I am still not really a fan of him now either though.

Edit: One thing I have to add, I always got a negative vibe on Onix. Especially since whenever I play FireRed, I would choose Charmander as my starter, and it was so annoying trying to beat Brock and his Onix, which led me to not like him. And nowadays, Onix isn't so great to even use...Steelix is pretty nice, but I stay away from the Geodudes.

Well my all time gen 1 pokemon would be charizard. Because he is a beastly overpowerd fire type with a good move set his moveset got better as he got older.I liked how the moves were visually like slash. Also my second favorite I really dont know if this counts but missing.no he has always been just so interesting. like i want to know the story (I already know it) i want to know more and more. just like the ghost I want to know what pokemon it was before it died and how it died. But any way charizard is my all time favorite

From what i heard missing.no is supposed to be a pre evolution of kanghaskan but nintendo decided that would not be the case.So as they were too close to the launching date nintendo decided not to take it out but just take all the data of it out.So nintendo just put it in an empty space in the pokedex. now we have missing no he looks like a data chip

My favorite gen 1 pokemon is dragonite

Honestly I don't think I could actually chose. I liked all the Pokémon in generation 1 except for rattata and raticate. If I had to chose than I would pick bulbasuar's evolutions.

I always thought bulbasuar was easy to raise and is a really good Pokémon to have on your team. It also learns moves like solarbeam and hyperbeam.

Arcanine is also a cool Pokémon in generation 1 as well.

My favorite has to be Charizard. Charizard has always been my favorite Pokémon, ever since I began playing Pokémon, I have always tried to have Charizard in my party, even if I had to transfer one up to the later games, going through a difficult process, Charizard was definitely worth it because of both the cool factor, and power level. Charizard was also one of my original Pokémon cards-back when I actually had Pokémon cards. I got the Charizard deck, and my love for Charizard only grew and grew. 

Charizard because of his dual type of Fire and Flying.

Just kidding, I'm not really fond of the extremely popular ones. My favorites from Gen 1 would have to be Marowak, Exeggutor, and Kangaskhan.

Chewy Dragonrider : If you've gone to Cinnabar Island, go to Viridian and talk to the old man that teaches you how to catch Pokémon. Then fly to Cinnabar Island and surf along the east "coast". If you find a MISSINGNO or M      ' or level 100+ Pokémon you've done it right. Note: this doesn't work in Yellow. It also increases your 6th slot item by 128. Yeah, very glitchy. Also, my favorite on this list is Bulbasaur. Blastoise and Charizard are too overused.

My favorite generation one Pokemon, as well as my favorite Pokemon overall, is Charizard. I love his design, he has good stats, I like the fire type, and his shiny form is one of my favorites too. I love everything about Charizard, pretty much.

My favorite first generation pokemon is snorlax for me  this pokemon is the strong normal pokemon  and it really likes to eat food. Though you need pokeflute to wake up snorlax because snorlax blocked your way in the route 12 or 16 I'm not really sure if this is the exact route.

i will have to go to bulbasaur because its their first pokemon created in gen 1  

My favorite is Charizard, fire Pokémon have always been my first choice on all Pokémon games. 

My favorite would have to be Starmie. Water types and grass types hold a special place in my heart and I dont really know why. Starmie has a typing that I like, being water/psychic. I like pokemon who are unique in their typing as well as their moves. A thunderbolting Starmie really took me off guard in the first generation.

my fav. would be butterfree
