No, not really. It was kind of fun to see results, but other than that...

I'll be blunt, so sorry if I insult someone.

I really didn't like it. During the course of it, people changed and did anything they could to get the big prize: A jersey. Yes, some people actually went as far as to sabotage. People ruined friendships just because they didn't get something and their friends did, and vice versa. Personally, even though I've only been in one TdV, this one was definitely the worst of them.

Not that I'm saying it was fun to watch it play out. I'll admit, that was fun.

I didn't, that I know for a fact. I agree with what goodboy said. That is mostly why I don't compete in the tdv at all....I'm not complaining here because. I don't compete and such. I watch enough to know what tdv does to people.....

goodboy : You do make a good, valuable point Goodboy, last month's TdV to my point of view, it seems like it was one of the most controversial TdV in Vizzed history. Because if you look at it, things really went out of control during that TdV, in fact, so bad, David is planning on adding in new rules starting in January 2014's TdV. A lot of people stabbing each others in the back for a jersey/banner, spamming the fudge out of TdV (the worst this site has ever seen), and just to name a few, it was good though, at least TdV was won by a Trusted Member though.

In my honest opinion, I have a quote I would like to share "To compete on the TDV is to get banned (temporarily or PERMAbanned (talk about thing1)), lose TP and Post Rating, and now, lose friendships."

I think this TDV should be removed already from the site, or at least have VERY strict rules, every damn TDV there is plenty of spam, I only competed ONCE on the TDV and got 2nd place (legacyme3 won this one) and I got banned once, trying to get jerseys.

Seriously, I would share the word to avoid competing on that competition, so far I have only seen ONE SINGLE PERSON WON ALL THE JERSEYS AND BANNERS FAIR AND SQUARE ON A TDV, and that person is none other than our dear...

Seishiro Leonhart : I would really agree with you, their was a lot of people (myself included) wanting David to stop last month's TdV and have no one win it. But now David said he's going to make more stricter rules for the future TdVs which to my opinion is a really great and smart idea, so in a way, that can keep things from getting extremely spammy and keep things all fair and square for the future. I have manage to get the green jersey all fair by trying as much as I can without breaking the rules for it.

Mecha Leo : Well, sadly, they ain't going to be another age groups for now on, because we won't have another team competition until January 2014, and that's when the next TdV is.

IgorBird122 : well in that case i'll start making more and more reviews for red jerseys everyday in hopes of getting first in red for november . May people not act like pixelbrick towards me!

To be honest, I didn't really like it. Seeing people spam, sabotage, and even get angry at their friends all for a jersey annoyed me to the point where I completely ignored TdV. I'm looking forward to seeing stricter rules for the next TdV.

Yea, in my opinion, I don't really like the TDV. Sure at certain days, I would try to get a blue jersey and I have made nearly 200 posts in a day just for a blue jersey but after that, I realized it was worthless in my opinion. Its just a username design that a bunch of people would spam or rage over. :/

k so apparantly i wont have a chance till next year, but that wont stop me from getting red jerseys, i think, whatever still gonna do a review every saturday

Nobody Competed Legitmately. Now I'll be blunt with you in saying. What a shame this tour de vizzed has been. 1) People were doing just about anything they Could to snag up a jersey. My proof of that: The most thing that went ahead and ticked me off:? the Pointless threads made. I was like dang. If I were a mod, i would go on a dq spree during that time.? There used to be legit competeters earlier this year: Like IN008, and others.?? But dang, This was like a... A wrestling match were Somebody interfere's, and the referee didn't see it or could do nothing about it.

I mean sure I'll give credit to Razor-987. As He was exactly, and I Mean Exactly the only one who won this thing fair and square. 1) he didn't spam or make no dumb threads. 2) He didn't plaragize, Everyone Almost Plaragized during this season: And what ticked me off about that was Some users got away with it.





If There should be any rules Made: I would Make them like this:


1) Green jersey post do not count toward crazy house, your fourm about yourself, and newbie fourm. That'll reduce about 55% of those fourm being targeted for green.


2) You plaragize once, You get Disqualifed for red and yellow for the rest of the following month. I am so sick of seeing users do this.? What's the benefit of stealing others content: for a jersey?!? This'll Reduce the amount of plaragizim that happens, and As we all Know Plaragisim and bans happen quite often, and something needs to get done about that.




3) Threads you make, Must be more than 30 words. And have a good conversation: I think I speak for Everyone when saying. The pointless threads were a scam, I mean come on. It's not that hard to start up a quality topic. This will reduce the amount of those threads being made.


4) I think this should help: If you bump a thread at least 5 times or so. You'll be dq'ed from green.? Another thing that sickens me about tour de vizzed: A quanity of old threads have to get bumped, and the worst of it: it's bumped by a certain somebody whom Knows the rules well. This would reduce thread bumps, and hopefully it won't cause too much trouble for the mods.



Good thing david will make things fair in the future. It's about time Spammers can learn to play by the rules, And to those who get upset over a loss of a jersey: Get over it. It's just a username design, Nothing more. You can say yay I've won the tdv, but in the end: I can respond: good for you you've won by spamming the fourms .

SuperCrash64 : I would fully agree with you on what you said, Razor did win this all fair and that was a good thing and the other 3 jersey winners also went fair as well (Me, Tgags, and Stephi).

As for the rules you mentioned I think would make things a lot more fair for the users, I do have to admit I have posted a couple things in the your forum about yourself board, but not a whole lot though. But those rules are a good idea to add in, and for the bumping, make it for like a max of 1 or 2 months from the last post.

IgorBird122 : Personally, I believe Blue and Green should be taken out completly, or at least make a maxiumum of posts for Blue and raise the minimum word count for Green. (Maybe 50).

zanderlex : I think that would be good, but I think we still need all 4 jerseys, but for blue and green, a lot more needs to be put into place for those 2.

It was my first TdV, so I really didn't know what to expect. Towards the end of the month, I saw a LOT of spam, and it was most certainly annoying. The jerseys are not so important (kinda a nuisance too...a little more difficult reading the username lol.), and what some people did to get em are not so great. 

I just went into this TdV like I would a regular day though...made my usual threads, and posted meaningfully. I was on Team 14, and since I saw there was a Team competition, I wanted to help. I admit to posting a LOT more than usual, but I didn't always have the elite post status everyday, and I was fine with that. 

Although I had a somewhat fun time competing in the TdV, I am not overly excited about the next one.

Magma_Cube : I feel indifferent towards it, despite the usual trend of people spamming more frequently in order to try and win, it still seems like a fun little competition, and spices things up. It really does add to some of the activity, it's really enjoyable to watch others try to win. Personally, I have absolutely no chance of winning, I just can't think of as much to post about as everyone else here. Haha.
