pokemon x : I have to disagree. Not killing someone just gives the mafia another free night.The town's numbers are dwindling so there's a better chance now that we may nail a mafia member. "Apathy is death".

Surgiac : Yeah, but shooting random can just as easily cause town to lose two members a day instead of just one from mafia can't it? I don't see why you want to kill AuraBlaze just because he is partially inactive when there are other members who are even more inactive than he is. It just doesn't make much sense to me.

Frodlex : While I have voted for him, it isn't necessarily him that has to go. I just want to see people actually trying to do something instead of just sitting around waiting to be killed.

Pointing fingers at inactive people is not necessarily going to make them active again...some may be stone dead, and will remain inactive, while some may actually try to defend themselves. That being said, it's nice to get a feel at who will defend themselves, and who will not as to not waste anytime with them. But then again, it isn't the best strategy to always aim for the inactive users.

I believe there is a reason AuraBlaze has been inactive.  I have seen him around on Vizzed, he just hasn't been posting here.  Perhaps he's one of the loose cannons and has stayed on the back burner to avoid suspicion.  I found that suspicious :-D

Well, November is over in 30 minutes, and I highly doubt votes change anything, it's pretty much an overwhelming majority at this point in the game.

It is with a heavy heart, that the town advanced on AuraBlaze, whose only real crime was being inactive or less talkative than a town that RP'd for 90% of the game. Unfortunately, that's a killable offense in Mafia. (Everything is)

The town will miss him, and probably should have just not killed anyone.

There are 14 people left in this game. This means we are officially past the halfway point now. (in terms of players. The game should be over soon though, at the rate things are going.)

As there are only 14 of you left, the night rounds will remain at 3 days (it's how long it takes most of you to send in a night action anyways) but day rounds will be shortened to 2 days. This is to speed things up, though slightly. I've been keeping track, and the extra day doesn't really do anyone any good.

So this night round will last from this moment until the END OF DECEMBER 3rd.

I know it's night and we aren't supposed to debate, but Gameboy seens to have been avoiding the mafia thread.

Eh, since Popeye brought it up I've got to say that shooting blind has cost a lot for the town (And or Mafia.) and seems to have really messed up the towns chances of winning this. This is why I don't think shooting people  based on activity is a good idea, why may be ruining the towns chances of winning this.

That didn't go well.



mrfe & mlb both had somewhat decent reasons for being voted for yet nobody really wanted to vote for them other than the people who posted those reasons. Makes me wonder if the people not voting for them were trying to protect them for sinister reasons.....

Surgiac : Another possibility is that people are following others in this when it comes to hunches and all. I mean every word we say in this thread does have some pretty big weight when we say something, perhaps sometimes when let's just say you for example says I think this person is suspicious, everyone jumps on that band wagon and jumps that person, like AuraBlaze for example. All I'm saying is that it is another possibility at this point.

It's possible I guess. Nobody really jumped on the bandwagon against those two though. When I voted for them, it seemed like people were more insistent on voting nobody.

What Frodlex said is true, and we cannot afford to keep jumping on each other's bandwagon(s) without a legitimate reason. Why did everyone go for AuraBlaze...inactivity? That is not the best evidence to pin against someone, and unfortunately, there was a [severe] consequence.

I myself have been guilty of voting without solid evidence, and it does no good really. I have to change that for myself.

Well, I'm done with townies getting killed. Mafia, I'ma come after you now... Watch your backs. mrfe doesn't like people who kill his friends.

I thought that someone that had been inactive may have been mafia which is why I changed my vote. I think it's still possible but I'm not sure who to vote for now.

Well, we can't really vote because it's NIGHT.

I didn't update right away because I had hopes the most inactive special role would be active, but I can't keep waiting for them. So update time.

The fewer the numbers, the greater the challenge.

This is probably what 90% of the players thought last night, as the targets the mafia could choose from grew shorter and thinner.

Any given night, you have about a 1/14 chance... or worse of being killed. And now, that 1/14 chance, has become at least 1/13, as Sheriff, pokemon x joins the list of the deceased.

The apocalypse still looms over Leggy Land and Innocent Town, so the game isn't over yet. It certainly may feel over, but until the fat lady sings, anything is possible.

Everyone is hoping for a miracle today.
