Knowing tgags, they wanted to keep spam out. Remember, it's the TdV. They had it restricted to keep spammers out. They didn't want to make the forum TdV bait with dumb threads. Basically, they wanted to filter it. Will they make it unrestricted after the TdV? Maybe.
