in kanto it was geovanni dont know about johto on hoenn man i liked them a lot i guess it would have to be the twins they were easy with two mightyena at level 35 i was good to go on sinnoh i dont know on unova i dont know so yeah i got to start playing pokemon so i can be better at posting posts in these forums and know a lot im still a noob at it though so yeah i need to know more can you please show me a great website or give me information on these regions but i almost forgot my favorite gym leader out of all them was geovanni it was so easy i took them all on with the lapras or the loc ness monster lol great thread too buddy

My favorite gym leader is Giovanni from the Kanto region. Every other gym leader was exposed regardless so you knew who you were going to face. From the Kanto region, you didn't know who the 8th gym leader was until at the very last minute when you approach to him. It was a plot twist when you were the one trying to eliminate Giovanni and Team Rocket half of the time then Giovanni turns out to be the last gym leader in order to advance to the Pokemon League. When you beat him, not only do you get a badge but you also bring an end to Team Rocket which shows a lot more accomplishment. I think that there should be more gym leaders who should be hidden and then exposed at the last minute when you are about to face them.

Well I would say Blue which in other words Gary Oak. Not that I have a man crush on him or anything I just love Gary in general because he always had one of the better Pokemon teams in the show and even the games. As far as the anime I would say Misty for man crush reasons. :O

In Pokémon Heart Gold I like every gym leader in Kanto region, so it's hard to decide who is my favorite, maybe Viridian City's Gym leader Blue (Gary) because he has pretty balanced team, so gives player some challenge to win him.
