Have you ever broken a bone? If you have, which one(s) was it?

the first bone I broke was my right ulna(arm bone) whilst showing off my monkey bar skills...

Yes, I've broken my pinkie toe when something got dropped on it. And I also broke my left wrist, and arm bone when I fell off my bike...

No, I have not. I lave pulled a whole BUNCH of muscles. It is really annoying, but it is better then breaking something.

I have never broken a bone before. That is on my top 5 list of things I would hate to happen in my life. I don't handle pain very well so if that happened to me I would probably be a huge grouch for a while and I would be very whiny.

Yeah, I have broken my left shin bone back in August 2009 and that lasted like if I remember, a good month in a cast, it was really horrible to get around, but it was a good relieve that I was finally out of that cast though, I hope I don't break another bone again after all I endure that time.

No, I personally have not, but my cousin has broken his wrist or arm, in his nine years, over FOUR TIMES. I seriously wonder what his parents are doing when he goes to the park.

He's literally why I used to drink lots of milk. My mother told me, "Milk makes your bones STRONG, you don't want to fall and break your arm at the teensiest thing like MARCUS, do you?"

It seems like he's in a cast every single time I see him, which isn't often, considering we live on completely opposite sides of the US.

On a separate note, when I was 18 months, I had to wear a cast because of an operation on my femur. I learned to walk late. Go figure.

I haven't broken any bone YET. I guess this is just my luck because I am not that good at riding bikes, but I do have a bike of my own, so If ever I rode it I often fall or grind myself against the walls. I think I already fell more than 10 times from riding bikes, and scratches from hitting the walls weren't counted from that. But my father already got a broken bone. In fact, he got many stitches and he can't control his feet yet, and that means that he can't STILL walk. But the doctor said that his bone will get better, not that soon but in the bright side, it will still get better. Why did this happen you say? Well, this happened when he was driving his motorcycle. He was from a birthday party that time and I think he was a bit drunk. Then, while he was driving he didn't see that there was an incoming truck. As expected, hes been hit by that truck. And that was the cause of his injury. By now, he can walk with the help of his trusty walking crutch. I hope he get better soon.

D'Zed :  Just wanted to say that  LOVE your layout!!!!

As for me, I have never broken a bone. In fact, I've never even sprained or fractured anything. I don't even think I've been STUNG by anything.  My mother was always super paranoid, so she made sure her children were well taken care of. ^.^  I've been bit by ants and mosquitoes of course, but that's really nothing when you consider what COULD have happened.

Even my little brother who is the most accident-prone guy in the world.... has never broken a bone.

If you count getting fractures, yes. Multiple times but not as the bones actually being broken in half.

I was once, for example, thrown down the stairs made from stone and I covered my face with my arm. My arm was nothing but a mess of swollen bruises of all colors of the rainbow that I could not move in two months but the x-rays showed no bones had been broken. You could have fooled me. But there were minor fractures. Same with getting hit in the head with everything starting from a bottle to a baseball bat. Just a few scars, bruises and fractures of a few millimeters.

Wonder how much it hurts when your bones actually break then?

Barathemos : Messed up how?

It's not uncommon for people to sprain their tendon (in other words, tear it), causing inability to move it properly, intense pain, inflammations, etc.

What does it feel like?

Light Knight : It doesn't feel like anything other then a bit of pain. I have lost feeling in it. i have it wrapped up so it won't move very much, and i am going to get it looked at in a week or so. I hope it isn't broken. You might not want me to show you a picture.

No I haven't broken any bone but I have some bruise of being careless but this time I will be careful about my bones I don't want to be a disabled person. I always care about myself for preventing to broke a bone and if that happens I would worry about my parents because of what the problem I gave to them.

No, I haven't broken any of my bones, although I would like to. (weird right?) I would like to break one of them, so I can see what it feels like, since people say it's one of if not the worst pains you could feel. I have been in situations that to me felt like my bones should have been broken, but so far no.

Yes. I've broken my collar bone. I broke it after falling a few from a few inches off the ground. I guess I don't have very strong bones.

I might have broken my ankle...I was on the trampoline when one of the nets caught my foot(I was bouncing really high), then I fell down onto the floor, when my foot just went...well, you know. I am meant to be having an appointment today.

I guess I'm one of the lucky ones, I haven't broken a bone... yet. Hopefully, I'll never have to go through that, seeing what my friends have gone through is horrible, especially once you have to recover. My friend once broke both bones in his forearm, ulna and radius, I think. It took him a very long time for him to be able to take his cast off, and when he did, his arm was tiny and really weak. I'm glad that I haven't had to go through that.
