No,  I do not hate educational shows. I learn a LOT from them, many times, much more than I would learn at school.

I love to watch the Science Channel, but unfortunately, not many documentaries show up there anymore. 

I like to watch the Discovery Channel, mainly for Mythbusters and Brain Games.

History Channel is my go to channel for awesome documentaries. I LOVE documentaries. 

Bill Nye was okay, but he didn't teach me anything new. 

NOVA is a great series; I really like to watch David Pogue on NOVA Science. 

Along with T.V. shows, I like to watch educational shows/videos on the internet too.
TED is awesome, many new innovations and ideas come forth, and I get to see some of them on TED. 

No..i dont hate educational shows...its pretty interesting. I like to watch Discovery channel, Animal Planet, Bio, and National Geographics.

I find most educational programs boring. I do like Mythbusters and Modern Marvels, but that's about it. I dislike all History Channel shows that have to do with historical objects, like Pawn Star and Antique Roadshow.

i wasnt always much of a fan of educationala tv lol. i mostly was just stuck watching cartoons as a child. now i watch educational tv when im really bored and i dont know what to do ^^'

Well I like them a lot my favorite would be mythbusters on Discovery it is a really cool show

Well educational shows are not bad but I would not want to spend my free time watching Barney or something like that

I love watching shows where I learn things from it. So I'm going to say I like educational shows overall with some exceptions.

Only the cheesy ones. If you mean Dora The Explorer type things, then YES, I despise them, of course, but if you mean inspiring things that present morals about life, then no, I love them.

I like educational shows like animal planet, national geographic and those types of shows. Especially ones that deal with space or prehistoric life, stuff like that is what I find interesting. The sad thing is that shows that are educational or informative are replaced by stupid stuff like gator boys, pawn shops and bunch of other garbage that comes on that teaches you absolutely nothing. This is why I barely watch tv now. But when legit, fascinating shows that actually teach you something come on, that's what I watch.

Yes some shows that are educational I do like. I like a lot of History and animal planet .. I also like some geographic shows. I used to spend a lot of time watching different kinds of educational shows but I don't really get a chance anymore sense I don't have a TV service. I think I should probably start watching some more though.. I did enjoy the shows I watched back then.

Educational shows like, say, 'Planet Earth', I can watch. Nature fascinates me and I don't mind learning about animals and geological features.
Educational cartoons and cartoons that try to be educational are just awful to me. They make me cringe. I think the only thing like that I ever watched as a kid was Zabumafoo, which was all about animals anyways...

I would say yes I like educational shows but it really depends on the show and what its content is about when I was a small child I really enjoyed shows about animals I watched things like Steve Irwin, animal planet, and NOVA all the time I actually enjoyed these more than cartoons. As I got older I got into shows like modern marvels and how its made id say I watched these about as much as I watcher other types of shows. now that im an adult I watch lots of documentary's and things like ted talks (its not as bad as it sounds you can find a documentary about anything you could be possibly interested in) but I dont watch TV as much as I used to as a kid. so yeah these types of educational tv shows I liked the cheesy ones I just absolutely hated as a child and still bug me today, well... cheesy to an extent like most shows that come on for really small children but other cheesy-ish shows I liked like bill Nye the science guy and the magic school bus.

If it's still entertaining and/or interesting I wouldn't mind. I mean actually learning something while being entertained is a win-win situation in my book.

I have mixed feelings as some of them here are quite interesting. If it is stuff like walking with penguins then no but if it is stuff about Volcanoes or Panorama (UK show about problems in the UK) I really enjoy watching it. It depends on what it is about.

It depends. History and whatnot has some pretty cool programs, but some childish shows annoy me. Bill Nye? No thanks.
