As the title applies, I am not a sports fan. I like PLAYING sports like basketball, football, and soccer, but when somebody talks about sports I have no idea what they're saying. I'm just...not really a major fan. I hope you guys respect me still

No, you aren't the only one. I like sports, but I have met a bunch of people on here that don't like them. It makes sense because a lot of people on here would rather spend their time on the computer than go outside and play or watch.

Same here, I'm not much of a sports person although I still post on the Sports board here and there, it's mostly that it doesn't really that much interest me, although I still do watch a couple games here and there, but that's pretty much it.

I think playing sports is fun, but I'm not really interested in watching it. I mean, who really cares who is the best team or best player, since you are neither?

I am not a major sports fan either. I don't like to play any sports. I like to practice them but I don't like to do a real competition. I think I would rather have a tooth pulled than sit through a football, soccer or baseball game. I've played lots of sports and I wish I could say I hadn't played them. Some of the most miserable times in my life were spent in the outfield, on the bench, on the bus and in the locker room. There are plenty of other ways to stay in shape... rock  climbing, biking, jogging, manual labor. Good times!

Of course your not! I am not really a sports fan much myself, yeah I might watch football or something else occasionally, but I am not like most guys where I have to watch it 24/7 and it becomes my life. So you are not alone when it comes to this. I tend to not be huge ion watching sports myself, and I am sure you and i aren't the only ones who feel this way about sports. Lots of people do too. 

Football is not worth melting your eyes over, but that is just the way i see it.

I bet a majority of people on this website are not into sports.  This is dedicated to video games.  More often than not, people, kids especially, are either gamer types or sports types.  If you were to take a poll (Hint: great thread for general talk) you would find more than half don't care about sports.
