Hello! This is chapter 3 of my story! I hope you like
it! Remember that the whole story is completely made up. If you didn't get to read chapter 3, you can read it here. CHAPTER 4 I stood there in awe. goodboy had super powers? No way! "I don't believe you." I said to him. "Prove it." "If you insist." he replied. He lead me out of the closet and threw me up into the air. I must have been 50 feet up. I thought I was going to slam into the ground, but he caught me effortlessly. "So I am guessing your power is super strength?" I asked him. "Yeah. It is one of the lamest powers. Some Things can read minds or turn invisible, but I am just super strong." 'I stared at him in amazement. "Come with me." He said. "I want you to meet someone." We walked and walked for what felt like hours. "Where are we going?" I asked. "You will see he replied. Eventually we made it to our destination. It was a small little hut hidden in the woods. goodboy knocked on the door four times, paused, and then knocked seven more times. A kid, probably around 15 years old, opened the door. "Where ar-" I started to ask, but the guy said "Base" before I even got a chance to ask. goodboy soon introduced me to the guy. He was Razor-987. The same one from the article that I read online. Apparently, his power is reading minds. "That is why he let you in" goodboy explained. "He read my mind and knew why you were here. Weird, I thought. Very weird. "This is the hideout for the escaped Things." Razor-987 explained. "We call it base. Remember the knocking code goodboy used? That is the safe code, to let whoever is inside know that the person outside is a friend, not a foe. Now, allow me to show you around." He showed me around the small hut, which was actually bigger than it appeared. He showed me the kitchen, the bedrooms, and the bathroom. "Now this," he explained "Is the secret door in the floor that leads to the basement. You need to key to get down there. The key is hidden in the back of the fridge, under the milk. Remember where it is, and remember to always put it back there." He unlocked the door and we went into the basement. What I say was absolutely amazing. The basement was HUGE. Much bigger than the hut. And there were people down there. "This is the basement." Razor-987 said. "This is where all of the other Things spend their spare time." "You mean all these people down here are escaped Things?" I asked. "Yes." He replied. "goodboy and I are the only ones to escape on our own. We helped bust out all of these other Things." There were 8 of them, not including Razor-987 and goodboy. Razor-987 told me that their names were Barathemos, PixelBrick, Matthew2321, Eniitan, TornadoMudkip, Divine Aurora, Eirinn, and B619ook. I didn't know who was who, just the names. "You are probably wondering what all of this stuff is." he said, reading my mind. "This is equipment used by the Things to help train them. Barathemos is the guy over there. His power is that he can shoot fire out of his hands. He uses the fireproof targets over there to help him with his accuracy. PixelBrick is very smart. He is constantly trying to learn more. His area is filled with books. Matthew2321's power is that he can talk people into doing whatever he wants. He is constantly convincing us to do stuff for him, and it is rather annoying. Eniitan's power is that she can turn invisible. Luckily for us, she doesn't user her power to play pranks on the rest of us. She has trouble staying invisible for long durations, so she practices in that sound-proof dome over there. TornadoMudkip is a computer genius. She uses that computer over there. She is very helpful to us. She currently has access to all of the security cameras in Singelli's Kingdom, so we can see what they are doing. Divine Aurora has super speed. See that long track in the back over there? He is always running around it. His fastest mile is 12 seconds, which means he can run 300 miles per hour. Eirinn can fly. He has that loop course over there to help him improve his control and speed. And last, but not least, B619ook. He can change his size. He can get really big or really small. Like Eniitan, he has trouble keeping that state for more than a few minutes, so he has his own dome to concentrate and practice in." It was so amazing. I couldn't believe it. "You are one of us now!" goodboy said. "How can that be?" I asked. "I don't have any powers!" "You don't need powers. You will have an even more important role. You will be our leader." I was intimidated, but also thrilled. "This is your bed over here. This is where you will live from now on." "But what about my family?" I asked. "Yeah..... about that...." he said "Your family is dead. And that's it for chapter four! Nice work man, you are really going into high gear with making these stories, it has only been a day and you are already 4 chapters in! Nice job man! I think this is really cool and the plot is coming along nicely as well, I like how I have the power to read minds, that is just so awesome in my opinion. I am glad I was bestowed that power in your story. You are doing a fantastic job on this, and this chapter is almost 1,000 words, your longest one yet! I just found this series and I'm really enjoying it! I'm tempted to make a suggestion about getting Mathew2321 to convince PixelBrick and TornadMudkip to build a giant time traveling robot so it can go back and save your parents, tgags123. However, I doubt that's where this story is going, so never mind. One question though, who does the grocery shopping? Cause they better have plenty of milk on hand. Barathemos probably gets heartburn quite often. I can't wait to see chapter 5!
