Well, during today's Nintendo Direct, they revealed a new 3ds Kirby title. Looks really good. So, I think they are going it at a good rate, although still hoping for a new Kirby Air ride for Wii U eventually.

I am going to answer this since I answered the metroid one as well. I will make this my last post here because I want to limit the amount of posts in the forum that I moderate.

I think that the series is going along at a good speed, they aren't rushing it or diving in too fast. I think that the speed is just right and it doesn't need to be quickened. They should continue moving the series along like this though. The new kirby 3ds title looked good so I am expecting to get it when I can. But yeah I think the rate it is already at is perfect. Good thread for the forume barathemos!

I think that Nintendo should make a more hardcore Kirby that utilizes powers in specific and unique ways.  Kirby up to this point has been Nintendo's poster child for fun, accessible games.  I don't think that should disappear, but I do think that Kirby has a lot of untapped gaming potential.  Much of Kirby's potential has been tapped with games such as Epic Yarn, Canvas Curse, and Mass Attack, but there is still a lot left to do with Kirby.  I'd like to see a 3DS port of Epic Yarn.  Come on, Nintendo!

Every series has to end somewhere. For Kirby's case, they still have a while to go. If  they went faster, they'd lose their "Just for fun" go to title. I think they are going at a good rate, but the series will have to end eventually. We can hope that that moment won't come for decades but we never really know when the plug will need to be pulled.
