pacman1755 : Seems like a little bit of Deja vu from July, but let's hope that whoever wins don't screw up afterwards, we want a winner to last a month after TdV is over with.

Anyways, I though a sec I was going to drop out due to things getting out of control, but glad things are back in order, it's always great to see that.

In any case, there's no need to feel shame over your entry.  You can't just 'opt' out of the competition since everyone who posts anything is a participant.  However, I don't think anyone is going to get upset with you and mistake you for someone abusing forum policy. You have nothing to fear and should be tremendously proud!

I got it from editing it into the second post of my thread.
I think that if the staff took TPs away in the past over this comp,
that they may do it again, because someone took away their chances
at winning. I've seen the better and worse side of this site. It's made many 
improvements when it comes to removing corruption. I suppose that I'm safe.
This is not something that I expected.

Sword legion :  It's no problem at all. I think everyone is more awed by your ability to get that much down, than worried about you taking a jersey. You didn't take it away from anyone... You earned it fair and square.  You're right that there are sometimes undesirable consequences after winning jerseys.... but as you said, things seem to be improving in that area.

Well.. I think I've made up my mind.  I tried putting some effort into participating into this TdV, but in blunt, complete honesty... I don't see the point in it.  My time and effort is being COMPLETELY wasted. It's similar to someone digging a hole to China, sweating and getting blisters.... only to find out that there is no water in China.  If someone knew there was no water to begin with.... there'd be no purpose in digging the hole.

Nearly every day the red and yellow jersey have been swept up by pre-written material. I know it's not against the rules, but I can't compete against that. I don't have stuff saved up and wouldn't copy paste it for the TdV even if I did. To me, there's no fun in.... "Oh look... I copy pasted more stuff than Bob!"

I'm mainly interested in the yellow and red jerseys as a writer. However, since a few people seem to have an endless supply of pre-written stuff they're willing to share.... I'm going to step out on this. No sense in working so hard to gain so little.  lol

Good luck to everyone else though!  I do love reading what you all share... just wish you would choose another time to share it in.

Singelli : I agree with you. I haven't even made an effort for the red or yellow jersey and I don't even think I will. I'm all for strategy, but I don't want to have to do that everyday to have a slight chance to win. I won the blue once, and I'm content with that; that's one more jersey than I was expecting to win in the first place.

pacman1755 : I can see a lot more happening later. That shows how desperate to win this people are. It is quite sad if you ask me.

That 50% rule is what's going to get me, I usually use long posts anyway.

IgorBird122 grabs 3 Jerseys

I didn't know what happened with me yesterday, I posted like 3 reviews and all of a sudden, I was up there in the Yellow and I seen I got into a posting rivalry with Dragonlord Stephi for the Yellow so I can gain my first non-green jersey, and I posted as much words as I can ( I was mostly aiming for Yellow yesterday) and after yesterday ended, I seen that I also won Blue and Green as well, so I really dominated yesterday. I don't think I'll have a similar success as yesterday, but I'll still do as much as I can.

Davideo7 :   Do stories still count for the Red? I need to know ASAP.

Barathemos : yes, they count.

I have been so inactive on the boards recently because I kept getting mad about not getting in the top 5 in blue jersey. For now, I am giving up on that before I can stress myself out enough to stop posting for the rest of the month.. I have been very busy lately so I haven't had the time to go crazy posting in the forums as much as I can. I will hold off until Friday or later to post a lot again.
