So I am taking a (really easy) Digital Media class in school. Our Term 1 project is to create a business and then make a logo, magazine ad, radio ad, etc. for that business. I chose to use Vizzed instead of making my own business. I figured David would be ok with it. I actually figured he would encourage it. This thread states that he encourages advertising, so I assumed this is ok. Anyway, I just finished my magazine ad (it will not actually go into a magazine). Here it is:



I debated over whether or not to summon David, but I decided not to. If a mod thinks that David should see it, please summon him.

What do you think? I will also be posting my other things such as the radio ad. The big logo in the middle is the logo that I made.

Hmm... the ad is a little busy, but being someone with no artistic flare at all, I'd feel bad saying anything else about it. haha.  I think one of the things I like the most (oddly enough), are the exclamations in the yellow starts. Those to me are probably the key features of the site.. especially the "safe" part.

In the middle of the ad, I think it should have a unique color for the controller.

Too many words. Ads should be short, simple, and easy to understand. If there is a possible way to make it shorter, more people may look at it.

It will make it cooler if you can make it an animated .gif

But overall, good. Nice ad, keep up the good work! Just wondering, where do you plan on putting this ad at?

This is pretty good tgags! I wish my school could host lessons like that. My schools IT lesson is pretty much searching on google! I am in year 9, not Year 5 (I don't know how the USA grade system works so good luck working out what I mean ). Well your work inspired me so I made my own! I hope you like it though it is only done on MS paint!

That is an amazing word of advertising art right there! XD That's so cool dude. I like the incorporation of links above, the stats example for a profile, and the screenshot from the game room. The explanation on the bottom of the ad is a welcoming one as well. The fact you point out "safe", "free", and "family friendly" and that there is no age requirement to sign up and that everyone is treated the same can make a big difference. That makes it clear this place isn't something to fear like a lot of other gaming forum sites. 

If you make anything else like this or somehow make this ad even better than what it is i'd really like to see it. This is some awesome creativity and effort on your part.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.
