So today was my first day in Accelerated Math. I was so excited! I was in because I was really doing well in Math, and my math teacher talked with me during 5th period(yesterday, and this was 7th grade middle school) She had called my dad, and he said it was ok, and I was ok with it too. So we are doing 8th grade math(a grade ahead, and I will get high school credit too). It was easier than I expected! I quickly got the hang of powers and exponents.

Also today, some kid came up to my friend and messed with him. He was messing with him because he was putting his hand in his face. My friend swatted his hand away, and he's like DON'T TOUCH ME! Off the bus he comes to my friend and he's messing with him, then he pushes him and they fight! I went to get a supervisor who was nearby, who ended the fight.My friend was unscathed, but that other kid scraped his hand against the concrete. And what's better is that he came to me on the bus(we ride the same bus) because I was his friend and said, "If you want what I gave to that kid, you can get it if you mess with me!" And I secretly laughed. I mean, you can't look tough in front of me with bandages all over your fist. I really hated this kid because in the 6th grade last year he bullied me because I didn't give him a granola bar I had. He kept slapping me in the back of my head. It took all of my will to hold back from beating him up. Probably he is going to be mad and try to fight me, and I will be prepared. My brother who was previously in the Army(And is now in college) taught me how to fight, and if he tries to mess with me, I will come at him. But only if he tries to fight me. I'm not starting any fight.

I hope I didn't come off as aggressive, but I really hate that kid with a burning passion.?

P.S. Sorry I haven't been posting a lot, I will post time from time but mostly I play RGR games

As much as I want you to punch him, I'd say violence is never the answer but you did say this guy just beat up your friends and then targeted you, so that's basically a threat. I'd report him but as you already did that he just got more mad. Honestly I guess there is no way out that I can think of except for defending yourself throughout the fight. I haven't been in one and I never want to be in one for the rest of my life, anyway just don't let the guy get to you when fighting and I guess you'll be safe.

B619ook :  I never said that he beat up my friend. Really I guess my friend won because he broke the other kid's fist, but other than that nothing happened. And I also never said that he was targeting me, he just tried to act tough in front of me. But it failed. So yeah. Thanks for the post though!

As much as this might surprise many people, I'm not too keen on the idea of telling a kid she/he shouldn't stick up for themselves. I think it takes a terribly strong person not to lash out on someone physically beating them, but what are we teaching by telling kids that their own safety isn't worth taking up for? Then again, I fear too many kids would lash back out for the wrong reasons. It's a fine line to walk and I wish there was an easy answer.

I mean.... physical violence and emotional violence are very different, but people seem to think that defending one's self in one scenario is okay, while in a more physical scenario, it's not. And I know that several people will say that it's possible to be defensive against a beating without lashing out at the attacker.... but what if you don't know how? Most people aren't trained to block the assault of a stronger person and when being attacked physically, it's pretty natural to try and fend the attacker off.... even if that means attempting to return some of the pain. Even animals being attacked will lash out at larger prey when cornered.

But.. bah... I'll talk myself into circles and I mainly wanted to answer the question in thread.

I actually HAVE been in a fight. Surprisingly enough, it was after I became a teacher, though. Two girls started fighting in my room and I tried to prevent it before the first blow. They were both very big and not-so-feminine girls with a lot of strength to back their anger. I looped my arms behind the closest one and tried to pull her back before she swung a fist.

The rest was a blur. I only remember somehow ending up between them and receiving most of the blows, kids eating pudding cups up on their desks while they watched, and one kid in the back of the room jokingly shouting "Why can't we all just get along!?!"

By the time the administrators broke up the fight, my glasses were nowhere to be seen, my hair was out of its ponytail, my large teachers desk was on the opposite side of the room, and I had a few knots on my forehead.

My kids actually had a test scheduled that day, and to their shock.... I calmly distributed the test and proceeded to straighten myself out after telling them to start their test. xD

Singelli : That was a great story. I'm pretty calm, but I have anger problems. I don't show it though. Usually in my mind I think angry thoughts, and that's it. Also, I think people sorely underestimate me. I am kinda short and a bit fat ( 148-150 lbs) but I am strong. And like I said before, my older brother taught me how to fight.

I got bullied several times. Which was very bad. One of the times two people were in the same stall in the bathroom, me and some bully, and he shoved me to the toilet for real. He was huge and was an 8th grader.. I don't want to talk how it ended.

I have never got into a fight and I never want to either. If someone is trying to push me around, I tell them to leave me alone because I stand up for myself. I am not a fighting sort of person.

I have never been in a fight either and I never plan to. It is stupid and it is only a means to get in trouble. I wouldn't want to start up nonsense like that, there is just really no point in doing that. I avoid trouble by all means, if someone is bullying on of my friends or being stupid to me, the best thing to do is either ignore them or laugh it off, they want to get under your skin and they want you to get angry, so it is best to ignore them and by not giving them what they want, they will stop. There really isn't a need for barbaric violence or getting into unnecessary fights. I just think that is dumb and pointless. However on the other hand, I would do it if it was a means of self defense, you have to show them you aren't an easy target. My parents told me if they shove, kick or punch me, that I should do it back to show I am not a target. Otherwise I think getting into fights is pointless. That's is just my opinion on it though. 

I pretty much got bullies numerous times in school between 4 - 6 grade, but then after that for the next two years, I was pretty much average, and then my high school years, I has one of the most popular students so it was all over for me, but all and all, I'm not much of a fighting type, but I do have a short fuse though.

Yes, school bullies again. I already got a fight with a bully. Here is my story.

 Last year at school, when I was eating with my friends a school bully and his gang want to our table and poured a cup of water on my uniform. So I answered him by pushing him away from me and asked him if somethings wrong. Then he said that he needs to get my english project and some of my money. I then said to him "Over my dead body!" (With a brave voice). Then he challenged me to a fight after school. So I accepted the challenge. After school, as the bell rang I quickly picked up my bag and ran to the door hoping that I wont see him there. But I did saw him waiting for me. I had no choice but to fight. We went to an abandoned warehouse where we used to hang out allot. I had my friends with me to back me up if the situation get tough. But luckily I won the fight without their help. I got some scratches and a wounded knee. But it healed fast. The school bully then respects me after that. I wish that wont happen again.

 Anyways, my school project was safe and my extra money was used to buy me some bandages. That was an experience that I can't forget!

D'Zed: I love stories like this because it always shows that bullies who pick on people get what they deserve.

i never start a fight ....but i did get bully around  why back when i start school  and now i am in college and i still get bulled and i hope that your friend is ok   and  yeah the world is full with people who bully....and this story is sad )':  some people kill there self because of bully's .....so for people out there how get bully...never give up ...life get better after school and college
