That link up there will take you to a video with all the battle themes from Final Fantasy I - XIV

I personally love the music from Final Fantasy, it's just epic. It flows perfectly with the game, and sounds terrific!

There is a YouTube video that commemorates the 25th anniversary of the Final Fantasy franchise...it is an orchestrated medley of all the battle themes combined.

If you have any other soundtracks that aren't battle themes, feel free to share!

I really like the soundtrack for Persona 4 Golden. When you are in the castles or dungeons, the music flows perfectly with the action.

My favorite is actually the version of Dancing Calcobrena from Celtic Moon. Link's here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-_8CqmYmiUw

It just manages to be so creepy and cool at the same time.

My favorite Final Fantasy soundtracks are VI and IV (though I really love all the soundtracks from I~IX!). VI is just really emotional, and the songs for different characters suit them well. IV, on the other hand, has an extremely catchy soundtrack, and I could hum to any song all day!

My most favored soundtrack of the video game franchise of Final Fantasy must be the soundtrack of the conflict of Culex. I recall listening to it with the video game of Super Mario Role Playing Game: Legend of the Seven Stars. I would honestly repetitively conflict against the enemy just to continuously listen to this soundtrack.

Leeland : Dancing Calobrena was indeed the best track of the album. Unlike most other tracks, the "remix" flows much better rather than cut sharply to introduce fiddles (like Palom and Porom or Illusory World). But I have to say that Mystic Mysidia is also excellent.

On my side, my favourite album of them all is till Final Fantasy VIII. I still remember when I first played the game and Liberi Fatali was thundering with (then) extremely realistic CGI. In close second comes Final Fantasy X, whose piano track (Via Purifico, the final boss fight) sound better in the game rather than with "real" piano.

All of the Final Fantasy games have such great soundtracks. I really enjoy the music of Final Fantasy IV, V, VI.

Some particular tunes from those games:

-Fight music against the Four Fiends
-Castle of Dawn (Galuf's Theme)
-The Opera music (Celes' Theme)

My favorite soundtracks  I have a lot so I will list them:

The First Mega Man X2, that games soundtracks really rocked. The intro stage, Crystal Snail's theme, Magnet Centipede theme, Wheel Gator's theme, and so much more.

The second  Mega Man X3, I really liked its soundtrack. Neon Tiger and Blizzard Buffalo were my favorite themes from that game. I also liked the introduction theme it rocked.

Mega Man 7 soundtrack is my favorite from the classic series. Freeze Man's theme is my favorite. But Slash Man, Turbo Man, Cloud Man and the Dr. Wily stages had a good soundtrack

Mega Man V for game boy also had awesome music. Terra's, Pluto's, Neptune's and Jupiter's themes rocked

Mega Man 5 had a good soundtrack. Stone Man's Napalm Man's, Crystal Man's themes all rocked

I would also say that Shadow Man had the best theme in Mega Man 3.

My favorite soundtrack from the Final Fantasy series would have to be Mt Koltz from Final Fantasy Vl. I really like the upbeat in the soundtrack and it makes me feel like I'm going on an adventure. I would hum about the tune whenever I am in a good mood and I can listen to this soundtrack all day if I can. I have other favorites from the Final Fantasy series as well but Mt Koltz is number one!

There's a few different tracks that I like, even though they're all really good. My personal favorites are: the boss battle theme in Final Fantasy 7, the theme playing while fighting Trance Kuja in Final Fantasy 9, the opening scene in Final Fantasy 10, and 1000 Words in Final Fantasy X-2. They're all magnificent.

I think that Final Fantasy V has the best soundtrack in the series. The battle music is upbeat and invigorating, the emotional tracks hit all the right notes, and the world map songs are good enough to not get annoying after long walks.

It's really hard for me to choose which gaming soundtracks I love the most. I have played so many great games with amazing soundtracks, that choosing would be hard. So, I might list of a couple and see where this goes. ::Chuckles::

   1. Shadow of the Colossus: A Despair-filled Farewell
This song just brings the atmosphere when fighting the 5th Colossus Avion. After grabbing onto its wings, soaring in the air and fighting to keep on its back for dear life, this track brings an atmospheric feel. If you haven't heard this track, I would recommend looking it up. And if you haven't played it, I would suggest it as well. An AMAZING game.

   2. Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver - Main theme
For a great series as itself, this games soundtrack makes it even better. When starting the game your are brought in Raziel telling of his past before his untimely death and rebirth, learning about how things were around his time. When telling this story the song begins to play and slowly intensifies as it goes along. An amazing intro for the game itself, I would look this up if possible. It is great.

   3. Parasite Eve- U.B. (Final Battle)
This song brings more than just an atmosphere into the game play. When fighting the final boss, the song is slow and almost like a melody. Though when defeating the first form and moving to the second form, this theme begins to pick up and intensify greatly all the way until the end. This theme brings in a sense of fear because as the song increases, the battle becomes harder. And the best part about this, the musician for Kingdom Hearts did the soundtrack for this game. Though, obviously this was before Kingdom Hearts. If you listen to this, you can tell how both compare to each other.

   4. Final Fantasy X- Summoned Beast Battle
If you have played Final Fantasy X, this battle theme was amazing. In the final battle with Yu Yevon, your Aeons become possessed by this man, and you are forced to fight them all. With this increasing problems, Nobuo Uematsu brings in his amazing composing skills and creates a theme that keeps you on your toes when fighting each of these Aeons. If there was anything I truly loved about this game, it was the soundtrack used for some of these battles.
