Have you ever kept a pet in a glass tank, terrarium or aquarium? What was their tank environment like? What were their names?
Any fish, reptile, amphibian, mollusk, crustacean, arachnid, and insect pet stories are welcome.

I currently have a fresh water 60 gallon aquarium with three fish. Two tinfoil red-tail barbs (a pretty plain-looking variety of freshwater fish), and a plecostomus (algae-eater). I actually don't have names for my fish, but I've had them for over 6 years now, so I'm quite attached.

Right now their tank has white rocks, lots of plastic plants, a castle decoration and a big piece of driftwood. I am planning on planting some real plants in the future. I also plan on getting some more fish, probably Rainbow Fish (genus Melanotaenia) so that they have a bigger school.

I've had and still have a bunch of fish. I have a large fish tank and I have a lot of fish and most of them die after a few months, so I don't name them. Actually, one of my fish just had a ton of babies and now there are like 20 baby fish swimming around in my tank. I used to have a Bearded Dragon. He was really cool and it was awesome to watch him eat. But that was the problem - he only ate live crickets and certain live worms. Crickets only live for a day or two once you get them from the pet store, so it was a pain in the butt to run to Petco every day so my lizard could eat. We ended up giving him back

I used to have a Red Salamander that I named Igneel. He died of unknown causes..I still don't know how he died. It was unfortunate.

I also had some fish..I don't remember all the specific types though, but I had quite a few.

Well I did have two frogs and some fish live in a tank before but they all somehow died I guess I might have over fed them or something.
Besides those two animals that is really all I ever had that lived in a tank.

I had 12 goldfishes once. They all died because I forgot to clean the tank, but that was when I was 7 so I didn't really know when to clean the tank.Those were honestly the only pet I ever had in some kind of tank.

Ehhh... not exactly but I once had a fish in a fish bowl when I was 15 and I've had this fish for 2 weeks but then it died!! I've named this fish after one of my favourite wrestlers The Rock LOL!!

I had fishes in a tank when I was a kid, I don't remember much, but I remember it was really complicated to clean the tank, the fishes was really boring and also they killed each other. It was hard to take care of and also very boring, I don't think I'll ever want fishes as pets again xD

I once had 2 gold fishes that lived in a tank. I fed them and did everything normally but in the next day. They somehow both died and the smaller gold fish seemed like he was attacked somehow. His fins were torned up... and the big one randomly died afterwards... I couldn't even name them... Thats a little sad.

I've always had lizards ever since I was littler. My current lizard in a golden-bearded dragon named Hunter. I got him from a science teacher at my old high school. He's probably the biggest sweetheart I know. He really likes to sleep next to my collar bone and whenever I have to put him back in his terrarium, he grabs my hand to keep me from putting him down.
