I have PCOS, which is polycistic ovarian syndrome.  While my PCOS is one of the most extreme cases possible, the hirsutism isn't all that bad. It's just one of the side affects, but thankfully, it's also easy to handle (not like the struggle to lose weight ).  I don't know that I've tried treating it directly, but the doctor I saw last year did put me on meds for everything else.  It was supposed to help with the hair growth, but I stopped taking the meds months and months ago.  I did notice a slight decline in the hairs, actually.

My hormones are way off though.  I get tons of testosterone, yet it doesn't seem to make me 'manly' or 'boyish' in any sense.  I doubt anyone would have guessed my hormones are so extremely out of balance.

But I don't want to derail this thread... XD

I pluck my eyebrows maybe once or twice every month. But I don't pluck much at all, mostly a few stray hairs or some really long hairs, I don't want to have extremely thin eyebrows like some girls, I want them to look kind of natural.

I don't really have to o anything to mine as of now. They are fine the way they are now. I might have to start shaving them in a year or so though, I need to get that sorted out. But for the most part, my eyebrows are not a major concern. I want to keep them in check. I want them to be manageable, but not to the point where it looks feminine. I just want them to look normal. I don't want to have a uni brow growing or a forest either, as goodboy said.


So as of now, I don not have to do anything to them, but in a year or so I am sure I will have to shave them or something just t keep them from going wild.

The most I do in the way of "grooming" my eyebrows is occasionally plucking a few hairs that seem to stick out. I also have a bit of a unibrow, but it doesn't really bother me, so most times I just leave it alone. I prefer to leave my eyebrows as natural looking as possible, which is why I only pluck hairs that don't want to stay down with the rest of them ("them" meaning the rest of the eyebrow hairs in case I confused you).

I do not groom my eyebrows at all. I think they look fine how they are and they to not need messing with, not at all. I think the only interaction I have with my eyebrows is scratching them but soon that will change because I am growing a monobrow and that is not a good look! I will have to shave it because I tried it with tweezers and that hurt a lot and I mean a lot. But that was back when I was first noticing it, now it has gotten mad. I guess shaving can come under grooming so I guess I will have to "Groom" them at some point.

Now, I'm quite fine with them the way they are. I usually only pluck them and comb them with a small mascara applier (minus the mascara) now. It's nice when my boyfriend does that with his eyebrows, too.
